And at the start we had the old battlesystem and there you had only use for 3 Mythics of your own class so you had time to prepare after you got one Mythic. The League rewards were a little bit different from today (top4 and better got much more Koban in D Leagues) so for the Veterans it wasn't so hard. I was near to promote to D3 in theese days so it was hard but I could get the second and third Hardcore Mythic. High Mage Arcana (4th HC Mythic) was after Mythic Boosters were introduced.

I remember I refused to take part in the mythic thing, since the event structure made sure only those with cashdollar could get her. The investement cost was high.

It was not until Red Battler came along as a mythic that i finally caved in. I mean, what was I supposed to do; it's fricking Red Battler...

So what're we expecting for August revival? Golden Lupa, New Year Estelle, both, or something else?

Not knowing is really annoying because the last day to buy the Golden Anniversary Cards is ~3 days before the revival, and if you need the combativity from the cards for the revival they're nearly free, whereas if you don't the cards are outrageously expensive.

I waited 6 hrs for a market refresh, to buy 2-3 more SP, which was dumb in hindsight.  Since it took 7 market refreshes anyway, to get just 2 SP!  I should've just done that from the start, and saved myself some trouble.  At that point, w/ 52 shards, the 3rd & 4th SP would've gotten me up to 96 shards, so I didn't buy a 5th SP.  I know I should've waited to use free regen, but after using up my last 2 SP, I already had 99 shards, so w/e, I got her.  Took just 4 min to get the last 49 shards.  Since, it was already 18 hrs into the MDR, the 5400 shards lasted a whole 12 min.  Maybe I didn't need to use 50x CP button skips, but I did anyway, for peace of mind.  Now I can sleep well.

Final update: Got Bunna w/ 711 total CP, & 49 drops, w/ 4 SP, for 97 shards, at a 6.89% drop rate.  I had 4 shards initially.  Started w/ 15204 kos total, and finished w/ 5063 kos remaining, for 10141 total kos spent for Bunna.

• 77 CP used in single fights at the start.
• 57 Free CP (19 stored CP, 6 daily goal CP, & 32 CP regen).
• Took 18 hrs to get her (36 CP regen), but 4 CP regen was lost, from waiting 2 hrs for shards.
• 7063 kos for 654 bought CP.
• 624 kos on 13x 50 CP button skips (634 CP).
• 294 kos on 7 market refreshes, to get 2 more SP.
• 2160 kos for 4 SP.
• 7063 kos (CP) + 2160 kos (4 SP) + 624 kos (button skips) + 294 kos (market) = 10141 kos total
• 88 shards w/ SP, and 9 w/o SP, for 53 total drops.
• 654 bought CP + 57 free CP = 711 CP total
• 49 drops / 711 CP = 6.89% drop rate (49 drops from this MDR, & 53 drops total)

This ended up being my luckiest drop rate for a mythic girl, despite all of my extra unnecessary expenses, and lack of stored CP, keeping the total cost lower than I expected.

I completely understand the rational, but as @Liliat says, as long as you can be available for several of the drops over the day, it's unnecessary.

This is a slightly unusual event for me in that a complimentary DC has come up on Nutaku. I want the 50 Koban rebate so I've pushed to get through as much of Bunna as I can. 100% single CP. The first 6 drops I played. I missed 4 sleeping. The first drop this morning brought me up to 96 shards, two more than I intended. That's still a drop short of the first full 24h. As long as you can be available at the drop times you should not have a problem at all getting the girl over 2 day.

You should also take into consideration timings. For instance, the shards lasted well over 15 min on the first drop this morning. The comps are generally lower participation at the weekends (I think a lot of people are playing this game when they should be working during the week ) and it's the same for MD. The shards last longer at days/times when less people are about. If you're really anxious about it, there's always the middle of the night drops.

That. I will try to finish off with an extra drop to spare in case I hit a problem. That way if I have to use 50x I've still got the chance to do so. I also tend to finish off the night before if the event ends on a Wednesday, due to the update and having seen the server go down for long periods of time on Wed morning.

I always try to keep 10 SP in my inventory, just in case something unexpected comes up. At some point, I had to wait for 2 weeks to get enough SP Boosters for the Mythic Days, so I'm not taking risks.

Also, if I have a "Spend Kobans" daily goal, and I find a SP in the market, I just buy it.

I know SP will never be wasted (10 SP will be used in the next 4 to 8 weeks, depending on whether I need MDR girls or not), so buying them in advance is not an issue.

And if we ever get a double revival of, say, Arcana and Estelle, I'll be ready 😛

Tinfoil hat on - The only logical explanation is that one of us has been surveilling the other!

I keep 12 in case they turn up on villians where I can't avoid collecting shards for other girls.

Missed yesterday due to work & RL, so when I looked this morning I was rather surprised to see Bunna up for grabs. Was just going to use re-gen to grab some shards for Golden Lupa, but as Bunna (even as a low tier element girl) has so many blessing opportunities I feel she is a must. Only used 40 combativity so far but fingers crossed my good start continues ...

I get free 10x from monthly card.

I had the same thoughts, and guess what ? We are right XD 

Since i'm a bit "out" of the forum (i use my little free time to play) and i do not follow any social (or discord) the Bunna's revival was literally unexpected from me, a true surprise. 

But thanks to my (probably overly cautious) play style i have no problems on going for her.

Results: I got her using 5 boosters and i think 9-9.5k kobans (could have been less but i had to use the x50 button this time T.T).

Overall i'm very happy, now i miss only 2 Mythics: Matcha and Nike (wait for me my babes, i'll rescue as soon as i can!!!) and i already have what is needed for the next month Mythic.

After obtaining all the Mythic girls i'll start to think what to do with my (little) kobans income.

That's how I got my first 2 (Estelle and Radka), planning te get precisely 3 charm girls.
Then everything changed (sandalwood, b.d.s.m. system) and I haven't missed a regular mythic since. Also got most revivals so I'm only waiting for Alexa once I finish up with Bunna.

I got Bunna, but it cost me 1100 combats (3 sandlewoods). Pretty sure I had a bad run on the drop rate as zero of my *10 combats gave me shards. Still, the low drop rate says I am in 1st place so far in the Daily Contest and I got enough gems to max out Matcha so not a bad result overall.

That's Bunna complete. Stats:

Total Kost (including 5xSP): 1602 Nutaku Kobans (9612 HH). As expected Bunna has been more expensive due to not having the saved resources to begin with, though not my most expensive Mythic.

718 Combativity used, 78 free.

Drop rate was (for the tenth Mythic in a row) below the average (7%) at 6.41%.

Along the way I picked up 39 MPs (drop 5.43%), 30 tickets (drop 4.18%) and 1340 gems (drop 9.33%).

Overall drop rate across all Mythics: 13392 Combativity used for 855 drops = 6.38%

Back to back I've picked up both the Mythic and the Revival for the last three months. It's been brutal. I'm missed the paid PoV and my Koban hoard has depleted by ~600 Koban/month. The previous two months I also skipped the CE and OD to conserve my SP left over from the MD and to bank the Combativity from the DGs and stopped progressing the main story and played side quests instead (as the main story required Combativity). I didn't do that this month as I'd expected Golden Lupa and was intending to take a month off the MDR. I'll likely miss the MDR next month as I already have Golden Lupa allowing me to rebuild my Kobans and pick-up High Mage Arcana in September (assuming that KK don't mess with the scheduel again) which will be the last MDR of interest to me until they start re-reviving the non-Bunna Mythics. I'm hoping that'll start in December so it's all about saving after Arcana to get the Koban stash to the point where I can sustain 4 straight double months, but having seen 3 months in a row I'm confident I'll have far more than enough set aside to achieve this. I could likely achieve this now, but I do like to have a big resource bank.

We had that energy/villain DC on HH as well.  I claimed 1st place for 300 kos.  I spent stored energy from seasons and PoG, that I didn't need for the PoA.  The extra energy, plus the 711 CP for Bunna, gave me a 21k lead. 

In my case, the 13x 50 CP button costed 624 kos, and I'm fine w/ that.  It costed about the same as the 5th SP I didn't need to buy.

I spent an extra 294 kos on 7 market refreshes for my 3rd & 4th SP, which could've been avoided, if I just bought them earlier.  I knew this, but I expected the MDR to be Golden Lupa, so I didn't feel urgency to buy them, until 2 days prior.  Then, after already getting Bunna, look what I see available in the market today, smh!  I'll view the DC's 300 kos as a refund for the market's shenanigans.

I'd love to have a stash of 10-12 SP in advance, but it isn't practical for me atm, w/ just 5.3k kos.  I'd rather save up slightly more, to purchase the medium/big Gold. Anni. event cards, to get that out of the way.  I won't be able to get the Aug 3rd mythic anyway, so no point buying SP.  I'll just aim to get ~12 shards for her.  The next MDR is Golden Lupa, and I don't want her.  I do think New Year Estelle could make it a double MDR on Aug 23rd, since Bunna just revived.  I don't want Lupa, but I'd need 3 SP for Estelle (28% shards).  My plan is to first get the 2 event cards, then begin saving for the Aug 23rd MDR, over the next month.

Well, it might be nicer on Nutaku, but on dot com shards still fly away too fast to comfortably go with the single fight approach even now, more than halfway through the two-day event (shards are already at 0 again half an hour after the latest drop window, and I haven't checked but I'm guessing they ran out much quicker than that).

So, I took advantage of the one somewhat slow drop window I came across so far, this morning at 5AM CET (don't ask if it was actually morning for me ^^). And I did go with x50. I was also kind of in panic mode, especially because I ended up having to do it on my wife's computer, without the HH++ script, which lead to lots of mistakes especially with my SP usage. I even ended up getting a couple of bonus flowers, despite starting from 7 shards instead of 0. 💨

To be fair, this was also the very first MDR I actually play. Anyways, this could definitely have been less expensive than it turned out to be for me, but at least it's done.

I had to re-discover stuff like "oh, to attack Donatien, I need to go to the Adventure Mode, then scroll back to the first map, then remember which World he's in, then click on that World, then on him.... instead of two clean and unambiguous clicks from the main menu!"... And so much more.

I'm sitting at 93 shards. Normally my impatience would kick in and I would just go ahead and finish her off, but I'm so close to getting her using only stored CP and natural regen that I'm going to be patient for the rest of the day and see if I can get a Mythic without spending any kobans on refills 🤞

Back to back "Defeat Villains" daily contests on .com is a nice bonus. Yesterday I was apparently the only one in my group going after Bunna because I won by over 100,000 😀. Today's group looks like it has a few Bunna chasers but I might be able to scratch out Top 4 if she plays hard to get.
