[ April 5th, 2023 ] Seasonal BS - Fae Fantasies (Lady-bugged)

Dear players, 

As you're probably aware, we experienced issues with the Seasonal Event and it had to be taken down. We've investigated the issue and resolved it, and we'd like to share our plan for the consequences of the situation: 

- No players will be banned or suspended; 
- Players who have received more than 100 Combativity/Kisses from the exploit will have rewards received since the exploit, from all features using Combativity/Kisses, removed
- All players will have their seasonal event progression reset and Shards from the event removed.

The start date of the event will be changed to tomorrow (April 6th 2023) and the event will be extended by one day. 

There will be no changes to the duration of the ongoing Mythic Days event. We'd like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Thanks, yeah so whether or not this bug was genuine and came out of the blue despite this event format being firmly established (and likely a copy-paste by now)... "Thanks" to it, they noticed that the last day of MD overlapped with the start of SE and that it was convenient for players. Can't have that... So they anticipated it and clarified "no no, we released a buggy SE but it's you whose efforts to make the best of our super packed event schedule will be for naught".

Also no mention of any kind of compensation whatsoever for the issue. The way it's phrased, the vibe is not so much that they screwed up and are sorry about it (which is clearly what it should be) but that players who experienced this bug and then got this event postponed because of it should count themselves lucky they don't get punished further for using this "exploit". Nice and classy.

Right. So at least we know. We can finish the MD and forget about any points it should have given us for the SE. And we should pretend this is only "an inconvenience" rather than a fairly large amount of points we should have had getting removed from us without compensation for it. But hey, at least no one's getting banned for experiencing this... V_v

I'd say it's a further waste of time expecting anything good coming of this, but it would be responsible for them to refund people's kobans. I only occasionally pay for the gold card thing to save all the kobans from villains and stuff (I save up kobans over weeks by doing the leagues), but I'm sure they won't care about fleecing the whales on here for a bit extra even if it is their own mistake. Only thing I lost was time, which sucks on its own. That being said, this entire game is a huge cash grab for the mostly forgettable, occasionally - rarely - nice porn. They're not going to find any new whales by burning bridges.

 

OR they could swallow their mistake and move on. One hour of a bad event isn't exactly going to ruin the game for anyone's "competitive lineup." Hooray, a few people were lucky and got a few more porno pixels that probably no one will really spend time moaning about not getting because they probably weren't going to get them anyway without spending $100 on the platinum card and other bundles that would get you over the finish line for anything more than the first girl or two of the event.

A club mate of mine decided to go for the mythic just because of the SE (before realising it was bugged). He used SP And kobans, since the bonus CPs he got from the buggy SE (400) weren't enough.

So if I understand this fix right, He risks, somewhere in the near future, to see a mythic half completed in his harem, mythic for which he used kobans and literally threw away some SPs (since the fraction of shards obtained with buggy SE's CPs will be simply negated from his account), and no compensation of any sort.

To add insult to injury, at this point, if he'd rather complete the mythic than wait for the rerun, he simply cannot do that, since he already reached x100 shards, and cannot get them anymore until they'll remove the shards he got from exploited cps.

I don't know guys. I feel like they're trying (successfully) to make SE uglier and uglier for the playerbase at every new run.

i wont call it terrible event and i like it. we are getting extra little free rewards. extra 1 free 5* girl. 2nd very easy to get 5* girl. 3rd girl is much harder but still possible for f2p players who want her. as for 4th one no is forcing you to farm her... but if whales want her they are supporting game by paying and it helps rest of players in not direct way
my only problem today is that after fixing bug they should have added event on last day of MD and most people will have 0 complains, but they dont...

Not surprised Lol. And that's just bare minimum of what they should do because a lot of people just threw all of their resources without being aware of the bug even being there, they don't get the rewards they deserve after all. Pretty impressive

The very least they could do, and I do mean the very least, is extend Mythic Days. I absolutely do not get why they are giving us the middle finger on that one. They screw up, screw it up even further and we are just supposed to be okay with it and no consideration for everything this now screws up for us?

also adding 1 more day of MD what are they lossing? letting some (not all) players spend extra free 54 CP on it? few people will save 550 gold is such a cheap amount... but looks like farming negativity over screwup is much better for them

I am surprised they made events like this overlap in the first place, alltho being such a long event its inevitble.
Now these events are not linked, so they should not influence each other, but they do, and they did overlap.

Now they already made it clear that the mythic event is not going to be extended, and some people like me said, okay, well I guess I'll just get the girl now.
And I did, now if they suddenly change the event to be one more day, then I'll look really stupid, as I wont get the extra points from the seasonal bs.
Even worce is those who spend cashdollar on cards or bundles, or just didnt realize the event stuff happened.

Not sure what they can really do at this point, they kind of painted themselves into a corner.
Should probably refund everyone who bought cards and or bundles, and give out a code that gives the points up to the first girl.

This was a major effup, and they really need to make sure that it at least is the impression that they are sorry
and that they know what they are doing.

It mostly not about MD, but about extra SE rewards, which ppl gained (and not be refunded) while using extra fights for MD from legit sources - bought\saved\etc - before event cancelled. And also about ppl who kept their fingers from spending resources at +35min after reset - then waited for situation to be resolved hoping it will be for good...

Well, they have a way to make ppl a bit happier with MD - they can (yes - they can, isn't they, Esme?) add extra MDR with long-no-see&not currently scheduled girls (NY Estelle? Radka?) and adjusted (why not) drop rate - at least for me it will be some bone to lick, instead of mid-finger - and it may be even easier to do with future planned maintenance than extend currently running MD in emergency manner, but... as mentioned everywhere - SE is the most predatory event from all around...

Absolutely. I got Sifra ~35 minutes after reset and purposely did not use sandalwood perfume so that I get more points in SE. I bought 1703 Combativity with Koban. Otherwise I would have used sandalwood perfume. Now that the ladybugs are removed, I lost ~7000 Koban. This must be a joke! @Tohru - Kinkoid
