If people want to concentrate so much on finishing those tasks that fast, which isn't actually needed, it's their call. So what? In the end the league is a week long and the number of battles is fixed anyway. My problems with the league format got nothing to do with PoA. It's the fact that staying in D2 or demoting can make sense and give you more kobans. Decreasing the difference between prizes inside the same league and increasing the difference in prizes between different leagues would make wonders. I managed to defeat govenants last time we were together, but I've seen screenshots from his later performances and I can say that he looks very scary right now! I have surpassed them before but they surely have improved his gameplay, so I must play very well to win. I guess TheMadaFucker is likely to win back-to-back here, but his 22.54 average from the season just gone doesn't look like it'll be a foregone conclusion. The lower end of the field: I'm the sole player at level 420, which makes me the 32nd-highest here. Median 406, but it's quite crowded right underneath that line; no less than 64 players are at level 401+ this week. I lost to Grovdar by over 100 points in one of my earliest D3 seasons half a year ago, and although I've reduced the level gap from 28 to 22 since then (well, more like 22.5, I guess) I'm pretty sure I'd get beat by him again. I've defeated Blain twice before, but both times narrowly and it took a lot of work, and obviously Sygfried94 is a very high-caliber player. So top 15 it is again. Expecting to come out of this with 6 losses against the top two, too.
