I want to take advantage of this discussion to complain about something that has been bothering me for some time, which is the scene variations. Did KK forget how to do porn? they basically only have vanilla sex, where is the variety of pornographic content we have had in the past? It's been a year since we saw a real gangbang the only ones I've seen recently looked the same, a girl surrounded by dicks saying how good MC is fucking her (wtf is this? lol). Where's the DP, BDSM, futa, tentacles, femdom and other things?

I know most players probably like vanilla sex, but they release over ten girls per month, how much did it cost for them to do something that other players also like? Recently girls like Ayame and Ass-ass-ination Kuruva has good things in their scenes that bring variations and something new that we don't normally see, but with the cutting of scenes we will probably see less content like that.

Preaching to the choir, at least those of us present on the forum, which is only a handful overall unfortunately. I couldn't agree more with you, but Kinkoid 2.0 has been playing it what they (often incorrectly) consider "safe" in terms of sexual action, kinks, fetishes etc. for years now. And it's clear the few of us who like anything that's not on their current white list (TL;DR: vanilla, foot fetish, and ropes or what they call "bondage", and the very occasional mild whipping which I think they consider BDSM) are shit out of luck. I have quite the foot fetish myself, so there's at least still that (although I wasn't able to grab Toe Ring Norou in the previous paywall event).

But yeah, a lot of other things that used to exist in the game have been on their black list for years now, and they're (he's) stubborn AF about it: lesbian incest, rimming, actual femdom even as soft as one tiny finger up the hero's ass... and way more. Some things they incorrectly assume to be "illegal" and/or might get them in trouble with a banking company they're dealing with, some stuff is still assumed to be too far out of the comfort zone of the current player base just because there was backlash against it like 4 years ago from what was essentially a wholly different player base (most notably the delicious strapon scene from Magic Forest), and yet other stuff seems purely random or personal preferences of past or present big cheese at the company.

This is really sad, i like the concept they created about "a world where sex is free", but they basically is killing the thing that's make the game unique and transforming into a generic Harem manga.

I really liked the variety of contents they make in the past adventure, some of them we only see in there, like almost all worlds has some futa sex, but they stopped this variety in the last two worlds. I don't even need to motion how disappointing Harem Tournament is. 

I given feedback to them in discord (probably will be ignored), but is not like the half of players will die if they put one girl to have a double penetration.

I'm totally disappointed when they take a girl who has a gangbang fetish, and they make her have just vanilla sex, like they did with Captain Piper. It was a pirate theme, they lost opportunity to do something they did in the first world and make a nice reference of the story.

I decided to rush PoV on the test server based on the info that they're improving them but I'm not sure what changed. I'm not surprised, after all they had like no time to change these images. I also wouldn't expect changes in CE or Seasons in October as it's also just a couple of days for any changes.

Hopefully they'll manage for the next L5?

So yeah, basically don't expect any major difference probably for the whole October at least. Not sure when the girls that are being made right now will be released but it's probably done like 1-2 months beforehand?

I would say it's at least 3 months, they had little time to change the POV girls, but I don't know how long they intend to occupy the artists with girls who have been ready for a while.

So I think I've finally found a girl where improvement is actually visible. I've unlocked both new PoV girls on the test server and upgraded them to see the scenes. They're like halfway there - while Jeannie clearly uses the same image, just moves our Hero around, I'm not so sure about Rhys at this point.

@DvDivXXX I saw you posting an affection scene from Pride in her dedicated topic. Are there some new rules about posting affections scenes on the forums? Like sharing them if they are meaningful for the discussion?

The 2 things I noticed in the pride post was the spoiler tag and the text was hidden. But I to would like to know for sure what is allowed since I track image changes and being able to show a before and after or just what once was may be useful.

No change in the forum rules, I'm afraid. But as with all rules there can be exceptions within reason when it makes sense.

For affection scenes in particular, to me the Spoiler tag absolutely must be used, the post must make it clear what is in the spoiler tag so people can avoid it, there must be a good enough reason to share the content (even with the Spoiler tag) and it must not be full or too much content that we can normally only access in game by actually collecting and upgrading the girl.

In my post in question, I deliberately hid the dialogue and also significantly reduced the size of the pic so that it would still be big enough to illustrate my point but not high quality enough as to replace the content. I also only shared one pic, not the whole series. That one pic was pretty necessary to make my point, so I'd consider it fair use and my post can't reasonably be a replacement for having and upgrading the girl, which I feel is also important.

I've been meaning to make (a) dedicated thread(s) to go more in details about some of the art, and in many cases it's damn near impossible or at least very hard to do these without showing at least some partial images. One very obvious but I feel very necessary example I hope I'll get around to actually making eventually is a thread to catalog all the clear errors in drawings (as in, two left feet, two right hands, etc. not just any random thing that isn't drawn well). I hope such a thread could actually help Kinkoid's Art Team if/when they have time to rectify these errors (they've done it a few times in the past), and I'm also sure that using at least partial screenshots (ideally with added pointers or other indicators as to where the issue is) would be much more useful for that than a tedious description strictly in text form.

This here thread is a bit different as the issue we're discussing is not about individual pics, but about affection scene series as a whole. So we would need to share most of the visual content of a given girl's affection scenes to make a point (even though, yes, it's basically the same pic with different levels of zooming, cropping, or small changes, which is the core issue). I feel this would be too much for the "No Spoilers" rule.

For what Yami mentioned, I think it could be okay if you make partial screenshots of the part(s) that changes, rather than full "before vs after" pics. It depends on the nature and scope of the change, obv. For instance, when they just raise the whole image 100 pixels higher, we don't really need a screenshot to get it. When they redraw a face or redo the entire coloring job, posting partial images to highlight the changes makes complete sense to me.

As for advanced poses, since they're readily available on the wiki (and to anyone who figures out that manually changing a "1" into a "2" or a "v4" into a "v1" in  a known URL works... ^^) and Kinkoid is perfectly fine with that, and especially since we have functional and easy to use Spoiler tags on the forum again these days, I have no problem with that. Affection scenes (or to a lesser extent, Story Mode scenes) are different because you can normally only access those by playing the game and reaching certain goals or completing certain events (many of which are paywalled or very expensive in kobans these days). So I think more caution is required there.

At least that's my stance on it. It might still be more dogmatic on Kinkoid's side and maybe even my own post you're referring to is sharing too much according to their policy. I'd be interested in @Tohru - Kinkoid's opinion on this actually.
