Questions about the Labyrinth

Feel free to join and ask newbie questions about the Labyrinth here, so we won't spam the main thread on the general forum :)

Some quick questions for start:

1. Do boosters have the same effect on the Labyrinth?
Which boosters do you recommend for it? All seems useful, but I'm not sure if Chlorellas are giving a boost to the girls ego.. The mechanism seems similar to the champion fights.

2. What happens every 48 hours? and what every 60 days?

What are these numbers? I understand that the numbers under the girls avatars on the red background are the current ego / max ego.
What is the percentage thing beneath it?

To the best of my current understanding, no. But I'd very much like confirmation from someone like @Horsting who's extremely technical and precise in his approach and spent many hours testing and writing down tons of info on this feature both when it was just on the Test Server, when it first came to the Live/Prod server, and when some changes have been added to TS but not Prod yet.

The recent survey has a section called "Labyrinth Extended" in which among other things they evoke the possible addition of a new Mythic Booster that would work only in the Labyrinth. This does not necessarily mean our regular boosters don't count, though.

I'm still winging it and trying to figure it out as I go, honestly. But by the time higher difficulties get added, this won't be an option, as even the current "Easy" mode is no walk in the park even on my main account on Prod, which kind of shocked me after I (barely) managed to beat it with my noob account on Test.

These I can answer more confidently (although again, Alpha/Beta testers like Horsting or say @Tom208 could confirm or clarify).

Every 48 hours, your current Labyrinth run (whether you've beaten it or not) gets reset, all your Relics get removed, and you get the opportunity to start a new Lab run from scratch, with a fresh selection of 70 girls. Your Lab coins and Hearts remain untouched.

Every 60 days, a new Labyrinth-exclusive L5 girl gets added to the game. If I understood correctly, they get put in a queue just like League Girls or CC Girls. So for instance, if in 60 days, you haven't completed Takara, you should keep seeing 20 shards for her as your first item in the Lab Shop, even after the next girl gets added to the queue. If you have completed Takara, you should have the option to buy 20 shards for the next exclusive girl instead.

I won't even attempt to answer your third question. ^^ I vaguely understand that the blue bar with % has to do with "Mana" and/or "Speed" and that something happens (or is supposed to happen, at least) when a girl's blue bar reaches 100%, but that's about it.

At least the girl stats shown when you select them did not change when I added 4x Ginseng on test server. And the hero's base stats (HC/CH/KH) are the ones who most likely have an effect, at all. I will check again when my boosters on live server expire today.

EDIT: Jep, all stats remained the same after booster expiry on live server. And @zoopokemon resulted the same from his research:

This did change: All opponents in Laby have become significantly weaker, while I would have preferred the HC/CH/KH => defence/mana mapping to be fixed. Those are currently not as described on the info page, CH gives defence, hence "mages" have higher defence than "tanks" ...

This is mana. Every girl has a starting mana (which should be actually higher for CH "mage" girls, but currently is for KH "damage dealer" girls) and generate mana with every action. The mana regeneration should be also higher for mages, but is currently not raised by any stat, hence expect things to become a little more relevant if/when KK fixes this. When mana is full, the respective girl casts a special spell. If the has no tier 5 skill skilled (the ones relevant for league/season as well), it is just a tiny little extra damage on a random girl. With tier 5 skill, it is a quite strong spell, which depends on the girls element. You can check those on the girl skill page.

As Div mentioned speed: This is actually quite important, also explained ingame: The order of the girls attack is given by their speed (which you can see on their tooltip). If all your girls have a higher speed then the opponent ones, all girl girls will attack first, so that you have a good chance to defeat 1-2 girls (or more) before they can even do a single attack. The other way round, it is not unlikely that you loose one girl if all opponent ones attack first, at least when it is a yellow or stronger one. So when there is a choice, this alone can have a larger impact than the "Power" number shown at the opponent/team (which is anyway very strangely calculated, probably buggy).

Following your insights, instead of going with the autoselect for today's run, I filtered by CH and then KH, picked my top 35 for each, and zero HC. I lost a dozen girls along the way, but I was able to beat the three Floors without using any Heart this time. <3

I'm also starting to get a better feel for what Relics are the most useful. I might be too conservative but for now I put DPS only in the backline, and Tanks ("Mages") in both the front and middle lines. Whenever a frontline girl gets below 70% HP, I swap her with a fresh one from the midline. So I take every possible Backline DPS bonus under the sun, and also a few relics I previously ignored such as DPS bonuses for a single element or even a single girl (as long as it's a KH), since I'm only using two girls for DPS, I can afford to specialize them.

EDIT: Come to think of it, if this method is viable, then I should select a lot more CH than KH next time. 50/20 at least. I've burned through a lot of tanks compared to my couple of DPS, one of which stayed intact the entire run (thanks to multiple buffs for her from relics) while the other spot was a bit more of a revolving door, but not as much as tanks.

With the currently low difficulty it doesn't matter, but generally I don't think this is a good tactic: KH "DD" girls do more damage and especially have a higher speed. Means they attack earlier. It is often the case the first all your KH girls attack, then your opponents' KH girls, then your HC/CH girls. Having 5 DDs in this case nearly assures that 1-2 opponent girls are already down before they even start to attack, reducing the damage to your front line girls significantly. With higher difficulty it is not always possible, but generally I would try to keep the 2 best CH girls in front line alive, hence knocking down as many opponent girls as soon as possible with 5 DDs. Against non-red opponents of yours it makes sense to swap the injured CH girls in for the weakest DDs to let them heal. GS5 may also play a role. I had one green CH girl in the team all the time (even that she was not the best tank, so I put her into mid), in the hope she will cast her heal. Sadly, since CH currently does neither raise starting mana nor mana regenration, and this particular one had KH as her weakest stat, she needed one action more to fill her mana than everyone else, which literally never happened.

But this is only my theory so far, so no guarantee I am right + it depends on the individual opponent: Against stronger ones who do much damage with one attach, HC are the better tanks (like fodder because of their high ego but low defence), against weaker ones who do less damage with one attack, defence becomes more important. And the relics may also play a role, like defence bonus makes CH girls better, as the % bonus adds more absolute defence when it is higher, etc. And finally there are still many bugs which may throw quite some theories over board (just found another pretty major one).

Coincidentally I tested this some hours ago: The damage is (attacking_girls_AP - defending_girls_defence) * 2 for a regular (non-crit) attack. Don't ask me why it is doubled, instead of AP/defence values doubled or ego halved 😄. Crits roughly double it again (until you have relics which raise crit damage further). AFAIK they double the AP, hence it is a little more than doubled damage, same as in B.D.S.M. I'll try to assure that tomorrow.

Which of the opponent girls do my girls attack first? Is there any pattern?

I noticed that the middle girl tends to last at the end (which means she's more "protected" - there's less chance for my girls or the opponent girls to attack the one in the middle).

Hi.

I have a little problem here. I just bought the girl that is available in the Labyrinth Shop, but she doesn't appear in my harem.

And here is a picture from my harem, where I sort in descending order by recruitment date.

So you can see that I bought the girl, but the girl doesn't appear in the harem. What am I doing wrong? Or what else can I do?

This is just coincidence. The girl attacked within one line is completely random.

If I level up the girls after I started a Labyrinth (chose 70 girls) - do they get stronger on the labyrinth?

Also, do girls gear affect the labyrinth? If it does, can I swap gear during the labyrinth, orthe girls power is fixed once I choose them at the beginning?

Sorry, but the Girl Takara is not in the Harem List, thats the cause for my question because I can't find here in the list.

Damn, sorry about that. I didnt buy any shards as of now, so I only assumed that the main purpose of the feature - acquiring a girl, will be working. Should have known better.

The only option is to create a bug ticket for Kinkoid - they should be able to fix that

Today the possibility to buy shards for Takara is back again, and I can say that I have the 20 shards. Mouse over on the card in the labyrinth shop shows me when the mouse is over the shared symbol. So I have the shard, but because Takara is not in the Harem List I can't see here there. I hope they will fix it soon, because when she is not in the List I can not upgrade her or select her for my Fighting Teams and so on.

Here you can see it. When I would buy the next shard item, then I have 40 shards.

Vigorous Motivation of course. The best AP boost for nearly all girls (commonly). If Finish Move would stack, and you have some more of them, its probably nice as well. But I think others found it to currently not stack (bug).

It seems to me that this is not a bug at all, because otherwise you might be lucky to collect a set of them that would kill the enemy when he have (only 😉) 100% health left and you will win only by entering the battle, and this is complete stupidity. The fact that they keep falling out when you already have such a card is not very good

If they would stack like 8%+8%=16% yes. But such kind effects which reduce from a total (you only need to do 92% of 100% ego) can and should stack multiplicatively: 0.92*0.92=0.8464 => 15.36%. So any next X% applies to the remaining ego you need to deal with. That way with every next such relic it remains true that your girls need to deal X% less damage, while with additive stacking this percentage would raise with every relic, making it too strong. Although you have too be very lucky to get an instant kill with 13 legendary Finish Move relics otherwise 😄.
