(or being treated with a fancy 3rd option i don't know of that it exists) back2topic: i was in a refreshing mood yesterday. i spent about 13k kobans on battles with roko. got 9 of the 10 available girls: juin lelierre, bunny's mom, nenadertal gork, noella, treasure, victoria, unionist elizabeth, deitra, music silvia. the one i want most (lady meta) is still in roko's hands. i'll try to get her with regular combat points though. (i'm one of the few who likes gork so don't expect complaints here ) with that awesome ratio of ~1400 kobans/girl i was really happy and i felt like spinning an x10 (although i wanted to wait for a casino contest) and obtained viola. i hoped for an event girl but viola is one of the better perms imo. so on day 1 i already obtained 10 times as many girls as in last years anniversary (easter bunny with 4 x1 spins) and the journey isn't over yet... Some other guy Posted July 26, 2018 Share Posted July 26, 2018 I got one event girl, 1 cthulhu sensei girl and I poked Slimanus a bit and got one of his so I only need one left. I don't think I will bother with Silvanus any more as the odds of getting the last one before the event ends is extremely small. Maybe some other event or if not perhaps Panchiko, I donno. I hear there will be a Donnie event where I have one missing girl, Eddie shows up in events once in a while, has 2, and Grunt with 1 and Ninja Spy with 1 show up often with events. Maybe I should just pound on Silvanus for the rest of this event. Better to do it during an event than not during an event. I got all of Bremen's and Finalchicky and will get Cthulhu's last one at some point before they finish the level. I really wish I knew the plans for the next legendary event, or at least if there will be one in August. I got some kobans I'd be willing to drop on this one if I could. As buddy said above, gotta stay with the plan... man. i would recommend sticking on silvanus if you're not in need of the cash from roko. my alt is currently in hamelin town and already had 1 regular girl from bremen. although i spent a lot of refills to pound him de dropped not much (i think val abraël was the only one so far). then long time after maxing him within one refill he dropped both his remaining regular girls and 2 event girls. the probs for this aren't high but it is possible. there won't be an opportunity for less waste as it is now. you can also think this way: if you need to fight silvanus 400 times to increase his pity counter enough i'd rather do it now when having a chance on event girls than next week when that chance is gone. It's barely day 2 so odds of getting a second one are good enough. And I should be able to do 4 refills by the end of the event. Kinda regret spending on pachinko, kinda don't. The only girl I've managed to get so far was a guaranteed one from the 5200 one (trying to get legendary but got an epic one which was alright). However due to having around 8523 before doing that I had 3323 or so left to use I today spent 97% of that on refills for the last boss trying to get any girl with no results. I say 97% because due to my terrible luck I said maybe 1 try for 520 will get me something at least? Went for it and then I got a legendary affection item which wasn't a girl either. Not sure why my luck is this bad today but hopefully tomorrow works out better since just from my results today I can't even imagine if I was spending money on this game. I think the biggest problem honestly with a lot of these events is the time limit, if something has a chance of dropping without a time limit it's seen as a positive thing, adding a time limit complicates things a lot though because then you're basically cursing RNG for not being on your side and possibly the devs as well since you think they made the drop rate 0.00001% or something. They've been incredibly dodgy about posting the drop rates so who can say what it actually is? I think if they did post the actual rates though there would be an uproar when people saw the odds were actually 0.1% or whatever it actually is. They've kinda worked themselves into an unwinnable situation where if they post the drop rates it satisfies the people who really care about that kind of thing but alienates other due to what the odds actually are. Let's just say it's actually a 1% chance so 1/100, if someone can see they have a 1/100 chance in a timed event they might just give up and say the odds are terrible so I probably wouldn't get it. If the odds were worse like 0.1% or 1/1000 even more people would think they didn't even stand a chance. If they don't show the chances as they are doing now they constantly will get hate from new players and possibly some veterans who feel like it's totally relying on RNG and that the devs themselves didn't make even a minor mistake anywhere that caused some boss to have a 0% drop rate or something (maybe even for specific players). Everyone wants to get the girls that they've put out to be able to get but somehow it usually ends up that some people get all of them super quickly and some people spend loads of kobans to end up getting none of them. Again if there wasn't a time limit this wouldn't even be an issue but then it would be a lot harder for them to make money which in addition to trying to keep the players happy (which can be hard in itself sometimes), making money is their number one goal. Their number 2 goal I think would be the story, the girls themselves for the designs, posting updates, etc. There's a point to be made that the game can be fun yet if you have terrible luck like I did today it becomes a lot less fun simply due to RNG with a timer being bad. It's also the reason why I could never say I truly enjoy this game since luck is such a huge factor. There are a ton of games with luck involved that can still be enjoyable but those ones don't also have a timer involved while trying to deal with the luck inherent in the game. Just think about it this way if you have a 0.1% to get something sure that's low but with enough attempts you should eventually be able to get it. However the second a timer crashes down next to you slowly counting down saying 03:20:12, 03:20:11, 03:20:10, etc. the odds of you succeeding to get that 0.1% chance just fell significantly. With more time you stand a bigger chance but since luck is still involved technically if you had the worst luck imaginable you could spend a full year just trying to get that 0.1% chance (and possibly even longer). So sorry for the long post but these are my own feelings about the whole problem with RNG and a timer. Hopefully I have better luck going on but man I had a lot of bad luck today and felt the need to express this as best as I could. Nope, many of the girls are Epic Pachinko exclusive. I had all the regular event boss girls, and I still have 11 girl to get off bosses this event (2 of which are permanent pachinko girls, Windia and Treasure). Also some of them have already been revived once, and we aren't aware of what's going to happen once an event is two years old. Some people may desire getting them now rather than risk missing out on them for an unknown period of time. No, they aren't. 11 of those girls were, up to this point, pachinko exclusive, 2 of them permanent pachinko ones and 9 of them event pachinko girls. We don't know if they will be offered again as boss dropables or stay as pachinko exclusive after this event ends. It's not often mentioned, but it's possible that waiting means you'll never catch up. For starters, there's no guarantee that the 3rd anniversary event will work the same way. Even if you assume that it will, there's no guarantee that it will be the same group. They might add more. Sounds great, right? Except that your expected recruit rate for event girls seems to be about one every 3-4 days, which means for a 5-day event, you'll only get about one. If they add more than one per year, you're looking at a supply that outruns your recruitment rate. Same deal with farming epic pachinko.
