I was taking note of the rewards, to quantify what they consider to be 15,6 kobans worthy as a pass and have a laugh, and I found out something. Not that it really matters, since I don't know how far past the first girl non-heavy-kobans-spender players will be able to go, but they completely forgot about adding green gems as a reward after the first cycle of the 8 colours (that ends way before the first girl, at 3150 crystals). Between the two girls rewards, there are 3 cycles of gem rewards, awarding 135 gems in total in the free path and 270 in total in the paid path (so 405 in total) for every gem colour but the green ones. The fact that the mythic girl this month was a green one, too, makes it even more hilarious Should I write a ticket to support and tell them? Nah, I don't care enough

There is now: I've just spent half an hour tediously splitting posts from here to there, and I also had quite a fight with the forum system to make Karxan's post the Opening Post, but still half failed. @Ravi-Sama work your magic if you can, please, it's stronger than mine in this area. (sorry for the double post) The premium path has exactly double the rewards of the "free" path, with the only exception being the legendary chocolates awarded by reaching a total amount of crystal of 26250 (LOL), where the free path gives out 4 of them and the premium path only 6. Those in the next image are all the rewards in the premium path only (as I said, If you want to know what the free path offers, divide these rewards by two. Legendary chocolates in the free path are 9 in total, truly gamechanging). As I already said, green gems appears as a reward only one time, for no good apparent reason other than they completely forgot about them. In the first column there are the rewards up to the first girl milestones (7200 crystals); in the second column there are the rewards between the two girls milestones (7200 - 27000 crystals); in the third column there are the rewards for those who'll manage to go after the second girl milestone and reach the very end of the event As you can see, totally worthy of 15,6K kobans to be spent on top of the kobans and effort one should invest to reach any milestone. /s

"Mega Event" is the umbrella term, and it refers to Seasonal Event, Lusty Race (this current one) and Hot Assembly (next month I guess)

Did today's patch (which has a notification but no patch notes in the blog) break the rankings for everyone or just for me? Before the patch I was at 4xx Xtals in rankings (I could not participate MD, as I have not unlocked Karole yet), just a few behind the actual storage. Now I'm at 374, i.e. lower than before, while I actually have 511 Xtals. I never understood why those leaderboards are always behind the actual progress of players, but moving backwards, then being stuck for hours? Watching the top positions and how much Mojo I suddenly get in season, it is crazy how this crap event destroys resource management: As I do not think that anyone is buying kisses over firsts, I am quite sure that people started to claim all their kiss rewards for the ranking, and will probably regret in KC. Although, given the massive rewards and that having a good ranking at the starts helps you getting better rankings in the future, it might be really a question whether burning all resources now is the best one can do. And then of course 1st with >5k Xtals, you can see the credit card burning. We can only hope that no one navigates oneself into financial real-live problems due to this direct unlimited "PvP" pay competition. Absolutely, this kind of double pay/bonus system reduces the value significantly for all mortal players: On all other events with bonus path, with good resource management and planning, it is possible to finish the paths without spending kobans, or only small amounts. On DP one might be unlucky, though. But in SE (this new one even more, is it now called ME for Mega Event?) it is not. Since how far you get even depends on the rankings you get, which is RNG to a certain degree, one cannot know the value of the pass until the end of the event. What is also nasty that bulb rewards increase in rarity along the path, like in season. But in season it is trivial to reach tier 63, so no problem with that, while F2P or low spenders won't be able to reach even the legendary bulbs in this SE, and the other 3 rarities have a true value of zero.

Yeah, there's no turning back from there on. We're all playing a full-blown Pay To Win predatory game now. Personal opinion, here, not speaking as a mod or on behalf of Kinkoid.

Thanks. Saved me the trouble. I accidentally unlocked the mega pass in CxH (15.6k kos), and it cost me an "Ahsoka" parody mythic I liked. Not in a good mood about this, nor am I enthusiastic about diving into the inner workings of these mega events, b/c it's easy to see from a first impression, that they aren't player friendly at all. I've been "dragging my feet." Trying to fix a thread that already has a different author, and separate posts as the first post, makes me think it's already "FUBAR." I could fix it, by splitting an older comment, but I think it's sufficient already, as everyone can see the main info in the first two dupe comments. That's really bad communication. I suppose we're meant to fix that. *Sigh* An update on my progress: HH: 1,330 Xtals, rank 428, Top 1.2%. 35,667 players. 604 Xtals for Top 5%. CxH: 426 Xtals, rank 902, Top 9.6%. 9,396 players. 510 Xtals for Top 5%. PSH: 370 Xtals, rank 2,577, Top 22.8%. 11,303 players. 568 Xtals for Top 5%. The formula for figuring out total # of players is: Current Rank / Top percentile = Total Players For example: rank 500 / 0.014 (for 1.4%) = ~35,714 players You only really get extra Xtals if you're in the top 1,000 players every 3 days. In HH.com, I'm in the 250-500 rank bracket that gets 24 CP and 240 Xtals, on top of the 800 Xtals for being among the top 5%. I expect to get ~1064 Xtals by the end of the day. That'll give me a 2,394 Xtal total. I'm only at this rank, b/c I bought 800 CP to recruit LG Kumiko last night. The more players in your server, the easier to reach a higher percentile, but not rank. The fewer players in the server, the easier to reach a higher rank, but not percentile. Feels like these are hindrances that the player doesn't really have control over. Even if I got 2.4k Xtals every 3 days (21.6k Xtals), it wouldn't be enough to reach the 27k Xtal goal of recruiting all of the girls. Of course, it's also impossible, b/c I'm not recruiting a mythic every 3 days (spending an extra 800 CP). Let's say you're regularly in the bottom 1,000 players for 16 CP & 160 Xtals, as well as in the top 5% every 3 days, that's 976 Xtals, nine times, for 8,784 extra Xtals. To reach the 27k Xtal goal, you'd need 18,216 Xtals from other sources. There's 54 daily CP, 48 Xtals from daily kisses, & 25 from daily goals (5 each). That's 127 Xtals daily for 30 days, for just a 3,810 Xtals total, not including tickets. 8,784 from the 3 day contests, and 3,810 from daily resources, adds up to 12,594 Xtals. There's still a 14.4k Xtal gap to 27k Xtals. Tickets won't bridge that gap. It just doesn't seem possible w/o whaling. That's the problem. Even if you're in the top 1,000 & top 5% every 3 days, you're not getting all of the girls. Also, the CP/Kisses from the 6k SE cards no longer exist, so there's no other help in reaching the goal. It's not like I ever recruited the 4th girl from an SE anyway, but I occasionally got the 3rd girl (when there was a 1k xtal gift). Now, it seems like the most you can get is 2 L5s (7.2k Xtals), and that's after spending 15.6k kos, like I accidentally did in CxH. As a F2P, (which I'm not really anymore, after becoming a mod), the highest reachable goal is 1-2 girls now, when it used to be 2-3 girls from an SE. 1 extra L5 isn't worth 15.6k kos. You can get 1-2 M6s for that. *sigh*

Thanks for asking, extraordinarily generous and fair. I know of course, you are not playing seriously anymore, otherwise you might have dominated this league. I am already done with all fights and finished with an average of 24.53. Amazing and not clear what happened, this is my first average above 24.3, and I really do not play scientifically. I don't have any skilled mythic girl in my team either, only 2 legendary and 2 common. So the majority of the players was probably very weak. However, we will see what it is worth, as on the other hand I never was in a bracket before with so many frequent D3 winners. I would consider it as success to stay in the top 4.

Oh, far away from remembering the (nearly) correct numbers (ok, two exceptions: Finalmecia and Ysette 😉 ). What I have in mind is, that there are more than one Mythic with more than 100k left and that the better runs of Mythics ended below 30k. If I have to look closer I take a look in the older MD threads to find an actual graph 😁. On the other hand: with the drained Ressource stocks after anniversary and the drain of longtime players because of KKs 🤮 aditions to the game in the last months the result of this MD is better than expected 😉. But I see your point and wont deny it. Got curious and took the time to make a longtime average for left shards at .com for the last 19 known leftovers (in the early Data are a little bit to much gaps and since Lovebot Norou we miss only one MD). In average from Norou to Kumiko we have an average of 70.065,8 shards left.

This is the amount of (known) left shards for Mythics. 77k isn't near the rekord, more in the middle. I don't know why so much guys everytime complain that the leftover shards increase all the time and call every month a new record while the leftover is mostly in the middlerange,

The best part about all of this is that KK.. like always with those changes.. just stays quiet and hopes that people will just accept it and keep on p(l)aying. Idk what annoys me more tbh.. their approach to communication or this event. For me it´s at least a final step to seriously considering quiting..which I feel like I´ll do once I run out of kobans cause leaving them to die with the acc seems like a waste to me. If I go for the last girl I might be able to quit by next month ..so we´ll see ..maybe I just go back to getting just the girls I like and enjoying everything burning to ashes ..we´ll see. ( initially the plan was to keep on playing until the next holy campaign takes place but idk if I´m able to keep on playing for that long)

I've grabbed her yesterday. No need for x50s since there are still 77k shards left on dot com, so it's looking like she might get near or even break the record. But I've used them anyway because I was far too pissed off at the game to make hundreds of clicks. I don't have the resources to upgrade her yet, although thanks to the dumb system that shows us in-game spoilers for girls our opponents are using, I've already seen most of her poses, including one that seems popular among my Season opponents who for whatever reason assumed she was worth using in PvP this week. Said pose bears a striking similarity with one from Ben's previous work on MD Stacy. In general, it looks like your typical Ben MD work: sure, good quality overall, and actual affection scenes instead of a Side Quest show, but super samey and ultimately boring as fuck to my taste (though that's on the writer too). Always the same few poses, angles, zooms and crops to save time, always the same vanilla lukewarm sexual interactions, always the same absence of genuine feelings or arousal, let alone relationship growth (even as just friends with benefits, they're not going anywhere, and the 10th variant of a girl doesn't show her and the male hero getting any closer or more familiar with each other). I'm getting bored. Perhaps my subconscious is deploying a last-resort strategy to make my eventual retirement from this game less painful when it inevitably happens (unless something drastic happens to Rosso, like the awareness that whatever he feels like doing is wildly different from what his best move could be, more often than not). Focus on what's been annoying you, solidify your strong impression that anything good let alone great is either behind us in time or behind a fuck-you giant paywall now and for the foreseeable future, and try to prepare yourself to give up on all the amazing content you've had so far and more importantly, give up on any lingering hope of even more amazing content and even more fun times for the future... Yeah, makes sense.

Completed the shards for the nice Love Guardian Kumiko 880 battles, 50 drops, 100 shards (with 5 SP) for a 5,62% drop rate.

Yeah, it's terrible. I wanted to avoid it, after seeing it yesterday. Watched the West Indian Day parade, and J'ouvert. Enjoyed my Labor day instead. Technically, it should be possible since the scripts stores the id of girls you have and the current shard count. The only thing which is not stored if I haven't missed it is the max unlocked rank. After that, the script "only" have to dynamically patch image sources by replacing the URL which looks like this : https://hh2.hh-content.com/pictures/girls/{girlId}/ava{poseNumber}{size/other/...}.{extension}[?v={version}] so for Bunny with pose 0 : https://hh2.hh-content.com/pictures/girls/1/ava0-1200x.webp?v=6 And for configuration, you could have the option of always seeing pose 0, always the max you unlocked or the original URL (default value / actual behavior).

I recognised just now that indeed aside of the new Xtals, there is another new currency. Whether bug or not, I cannot see this being rewarded or used anywhere ... EDIT: I missed the last page here, sorry for repeating what was already discussed above 😄. Also note that the SE comes with 2 dedicated ranking rewards, which work slightly different, one about the individual position among top 1000 and the other about the top X% bracket shown in mdnoria's screenshot above. Who the f*** comes up with such shitty ideas, doubling a simple boring "who pays the most" reward system into two simple boring ones, where top rankers from one are inherently top rankers for the other as well 😂. And no new GUI without bugs: Missing scroll bar for the top ranking table. That is also what I feel so sorry for. I would have loved to continue reading all the funny stories and see all the beautiful art. Kudos to the artists, and a pain for them to be misused for a game being destroyed with such crap.

Jep. Now we can watch all the whales getting huge amounts of extra EqP orbs, firsts and gems every 3 days. I'll watch this for a few days but then likely stop playing this game. This has become much too annoying with all these overlapping and repeating expensive reward tracks, and now another huge step to P2W, not just for some extra girl(s) (like before), but for bulbs and many EqP orbs (which do make a difference in PvP). The system is also designed so that those which are top rankend have it easier to stay top ranked due to the fist rewards, and probably the Xtals rewards count as well for the next ranking period. The bonus path can be bought with money or kobans, but for a (kobans) price which no mortal player can afford. To get all girls one must buy this + additionally buy Xtals. We'll see how far one can get with F2P, but I cannot imagine that reaching the 2nd girl is possible, as she is very close to the end of the track. So F2P will be at best 1 of 4 girls.

Want me to offer a merger ravi, pelinor, anyone ? But yeah.. we´ve been losing a lot of peps over here too ... and a few more soon (once they burn all of the rest kobans they have ..all thanks to the latest girl equip and especially bulb updates)
