Interview with a Cumpire

Darling,

Melisandre is a cumpire, waiting for the one true Undefeated Master to return and bless her with his sacred juices.

Starting on the 19th and ending on the 23rd (1:30 pm UTC+1) of February you will have 4 days to seduce Melisandre There will be 4 Legendary contests which you have to complete in order to get her!

She’s gathered a harem on her own all for your pleasure! Can you feel how starved they are?

It seems that this is the second character from Overlord. Or is there anyone else except Albedo?

yeah, and on nutaku we get LC paired again with a pachinko contest - that's a BIG deja vu. Really interessted how many resources players still have left after so many pachinko contests.

Eh, I'm pretty sure people still have hundreds of green 10-orbs laying around. Although if someone decided to save his season rewards in the previous LC, they will definitely be happy today. Like the top guy in my bracket, who set the early pace at 3.3m.

I can sincerely appreciate someone taking an early position like that. It gives me all day to consider whether there is even a point in investing season or PoV rewards, or whether they are better saved for a daily later in the month. Although now that I've reached level 401, I expect reduced returns in the daily contests.

Yup, and the fact that there's a Pachinko contest here means that it's outright trivial to get the XP from the current PoV if you want it. I gained two levels this morning thanks to redeeming the free path PoV plus Seasons, taking me up to level 456.

My approach for today was to spend all my Epic orbs but leave my stash of 200 GPx10 orbs untouched for tomorrow. I'm currently holding 1st place in Team Spirit and 4th place at the Casino, which probably won't hold and will need to be topped up but we'll see about that later in the day.

yeah, i agree to all of you: probably enough people left with orbs/season, PoV xp, etc. pp. I havent decided yet what to do. With 3,7M points in XP i could still take the lead with a big advantage to 2nd. I could also spend a few hundered orbs. But in both cases I am wondering if I really want to.

If I spend it today, I am in the non shard bracket with all the whales. They will have enough resources to play very seriously the 2nd day too. That's not really a gain, IMO. If I dont spend today I am probably gonna have good chances for the next few contests and can also save some resources for when I actually need them. That sounds nice. Still, I like to finish this event early, especially since I am busy the next week.

My plan was to collect 25 shards each day, but to my own surprise I'll end with 50 day one. There are people that saved both Season and PoV XP slots for today (and I'm asking what they did on the special LC), but most didn't.

If that's the trend, probably I'll collect her on day 2.

And I'm not entirely happy about. This season shown an overall increase in art quality: Tora, Nikki, Flynn. Red Queen isn't properly an astounding piece, but at least is compliant and precisely drawn.

This loli is instead wrong from many points of view, from the timid coloring to something completely wrong in her figure. And again, that mistake on face elements that make her eyes float around.

She's my first White Legendary 5 so I totally need her. But if I could decide, I will not spend a dime on her.

couldnt decide what to do, so i tried to find a path in between; not sure I am glad with spending 100 GPx10+50mythic single ones for that, though

next time I need to decide earlier what I want to do and then stick to it

Good start at LC. Top1 with this kind of normal contest not reachable to me, but my 3rd place is good enough (only my lack of blue and dark gems go on).

As predicted girl on the first day, got a comfortable 2nd place. The first sniped me in the end but he/she had to use a huge amount of money in donations for sure. From my perspective using that much money to get 250 stones more, is not worth it. Specially if he/she started a donation war. I can use them to upgrade my harem and get kobans in other contest so.... idk this dude got caught in the "i have it bigger" game and probably wasted a lot, i feel a bit sorry . Anyways i'm not interested in these stones, for now i have them.

Now relaxing time ahead, awwwwww.

P.s I'm pretty happy that we had added Shalltear Bloodallen (i liked the anime a lot) but at first sight i'm not fully convinced about her art, i hope this sensation disappear when i will upgrade her (a distant future XD)

2nd place with around 2M3 (including 500k from the orb contest) on Nutaku.

The Orb contest was quite welcome, as using orbs not only gave me some points for the contest, but also allowed me to get the XP reward from the PoV.

It was a bit messy on my side, but I got the girl day 1 (1.7M XP from PoV and Season, 4th place). Now lvl 392; this kind of score will soon barely be enough for Top 10.

I'll try to collect some Blue gems and MPs for the rest of the event. I need a few thousand blue gems to bring Norou up to speed. Probably won't happen anytime soon...

Sorry to disappoint, but you'll only get 2 days of relaxation according to the calendar. PoA is overlapping with the last day of the LC.

I was worried about that too, having gone to 401 very recently. But 1.72M points would have been enough for 4th place in my first LC contest in the BoD. I did a comfortable 2nd place with 2.1M. It really depends on which 50 players you get sorted with for the contest of course, but I'm not too worried as an active free player that I won't be able to get good results anymore.

Got Melisandre (Shalltear), by using 44k PXP from seasons, and the 114.4k PXP from the Pachinko PoV, for 2nd place.  I'm level 414, and it was 2.9 mil for 1st, and 1.59 mil for the top 4.  UltraDoux, the player that got first place, probably saved most of their season PXP from the first LC.  I assume if we ever gets a heads up about a 2nd LC again, then players will be more frugal in spending their resources, or the PoV won't be as easy, making it more difficult.  Checking the calendar, and saving PXP/orbs for the LC still seems like the best strategy.  Saving GXP makes sense too, but I never had to rely on that.

Oh, we know. But PoA is my favorite event in the game. So on top of having three days of full relaxation not having to care about the feature format I hate the most, contests, I'll have a treat on the last day with PoA starting. 🎶

I wen "a little" over what  i should have spent today as a result, i used all of my *10 pachinko, but i'm at least able to relax about the LC :D

another cheap top25, only 50 myp-orbs or so. Still, i should have gone for the win on first day, especially as I see now how cheap people got first in the non-shard bracket. Well, in retrospective everything is clearer. I am expecting a top10 today though.

#4. Got her, maxed out.

Poses are varied a lot, so one can pick the one he does like the most, but someone at KK is really about large legs. Really, a bit too much. As it's a trend shared by many artists, I think is an art director directive.

The large imagery show good backgrounds, but again that trick of adding more if one can't hold the stage on her own. It's again a bit too much of a trend lately for Legendary 5.

Facts: in italian, we have 3 different modes of translating 'Cumpire', apparently. And me and Melisandre share the birthday.

Expected placing in top10. If I had more time in the last 24h to make champions I had a chance for top4, but RL was against it.
