jelom Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 A win this week. My old friend @casey took second place after doing the last fights literally in the last minute. JamesFrancoPhD was of course third, and Zerodyme (almost all time boosted) was 4th. A strange week because of PoA, with many people boosted most of the time even at lower levels. I am glad I could find most top level ones unboosted during the week. PoA and LC add a layer of complexity to the leagues because with so many people half or full boosted you have to select when to fight every opponent and pray the ones you left for the end will not be boosted then. 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

POA weeks are always tricky and this is the first time I manage to finish top 30 in a POA week, held off 31st by only 20 points. Seven boosters used during the week, straddled over 2 and 1/2 days, with a half-boost a few hours reaching into the next season and a 3/4 boost brought forward from last season for about 12 hours. 36 losses in total, most of the players I had left for the last day could not be caught off-boost. blaa Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) It's a rough 5th place, especially regarding the level differences. Top 5 are all KH. Since I was extremley busy this week, i didnt want to make an effort for a top4; but since at least 3 of the 4 top4 players looked too weak (great stats, but not so much in their results) and it was PoA I decided to go for it. Since I had to fight a lot of fights over phone I couldnt check twice (with the script and my taken sceenshots). I made two curcial mistakes and some minor ones; in another week I could have beaten both Prince J and Unfasik, but it wasnt good enough this time. This week I have over 10 stronger KH players in my league (on top deeptra with insanely bugged stats and also @MICK69), most of them not with the best results, but I dont see where I could take a 4th place. Ira is with me this week as well, together with the infamous bugged stats player anony76. Тёмный Властелин Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) Last week results: 104 players: 426 – highest level, 308 – lowest, average – 377.86, median – 384; 400+ – 32 players; 390+ – 14 players; 380+ – 10 players made 292 battles: 281 – wins, 11 – losses (1 – 13 points), 17 remaining tokens average points per wins: 17.540 15th place score – 4976; got 16th with 4975 points was boosted for 3 days: 1 time 4 legendary cordyceps; 2 times 4 legendary chlorella total XP gain – ~75070 Focused on XP gain as much as I could this week but still made some mistakes – did 3 point battles in the middle of the week against 3 players that I could have won. It turned out that I could win them with 4 legendary cordyceps setup and some monostat items swap. Lesson learned - do not make 3 points until the very end of the league. Better just miss some tokens in the middle of the week. There is not much to talk about cause all I do is just adapt to 15th place and don't play for the victory. Maybe it would make sense to stop posting these long reports and just upload a screenshot of my place and top 9 guys and their stats? What do you think? The league was won by level 404 Know-how player (6 D1 wins, 1 D2 wins). Level 422 Hardcore player was 2nd (1 D1 wins, 1 2nd D2 place). Level 404 Charm player (3 D1 wins) was 3d. Level 406 Charm player was fourth (2 D1 wins, 1 2nd D2 place). The rest top 9 are: KH, KH, KH, KH, CH. I don't have any screenshot this week since it is not possible to take it on smartphone when you play with the web browser but I finished out of the top45 (rank #55) with a score of 4507 points far below the rank #45 Boosters used : 20 legendaries (2 ginseng / 2 cordyceps each time) 101 opponents -> 303 fights -> 166 wins and 137 losses I have decided to demote to D2 this week. I'll gain a bit more XP and a lot more kobans. (that's saying something in 2020 so far right? XD ) I missed out on around 25 or more opponents. Aside from a disappointing 28nd place, the lost xp especially hurts. snowman22 Posted October 2, 2020 Share Posted October 2, 2020 Last week I had a lot (7?) of multi-D3-winners in my league and so decided to go cheap. 2 rounds of purple focused on picking off as many of the iffy wins as possible without regard to maximizing points, then garbage the rest of the time. 4 x L Chlor is amusing. Next week will suck, as I cannot afford to fight in the arena at all if I want to demote. 18 players in D3 this week sitting on 0 points. Oh well, a week of little level progress coming up. Full of HC players (44 of 99 opponents were HC), something that lowers the scores overall and gives somewhat better odds to CH players - something important here with two high level CH players in Link and Cadmos: 22.33 average, not my best but as I've said it was full of HC players, so everybody's averages are low. I couldn't catch 4 players unboosted, amongst then Link - I only needed 1 crit against him to win his battles. I lost 2 of 3 😠. blaa Posted October 8, 2020 Share Posted October 8, 2020 Another top5 for me; i guess, it would be enough for me if they would make a top2-5 instead of top4; I am pretty okay with this league; there wasnt really a chance this week for a top4, but since I had at least some time to check every snapshot I decided to have a look where I am standing against all these other KH players (which I eventually will face in another week and hopefully not all of them again). My average was 21,58, probably one of my best averages overal in d3. Besides 8 (CH) and 6 (HC) all players in top10 are KH players. Most of them played very solid, one of them even was unboosted (of course it was deeptra with his massive bugged stats). I dont see a way atm how I could beat one of the top4 guys in one of the following leagues. The only bitter taste is that there are too many top4 in this thread which are way under my score. Somehow I get the feeling I am facing a lot of really strong d3s since I started to move on from d2. Anyways, it's just a taste, nothing more. This week looks bad again, I have alone 5 KH players with at least 5 d3 wins. But this time, i am just going for an easy top15 for sure. 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
