  1. This was the first time I have been able to get the girl on day 2. I managed to snag 50 shards on day 1. I then had my best ever day in the game on day 2, as I decided to go a bit nutty on spending orbs (which I have hoarded over my time playing) and staying up for reset instead of going to bed an hour or two before reset. This enabled me to place first in both contests for the first, and likely last time ever. I'm US Eastern time zone, but I have to sleep days, due to my living situation with my SO working from home. My being awake while she works from home really doesn't work for her, as the house isn't big enough and she roams around. I expect to do well enough to get a top 10 on day 3, which is when I can sometimes sneak a top 4. Waiting to claim the girl on day 4.

  3. I don't mean to sound dismissive, but 4 million points was not a competitive bid from me. That was a greedy "maybe he's not paying attention and I can win by spending just a little bit" bid. If I were actually being competitive I would have either gone straight up to 5 million as my initial position rather than 3 million, or gone up to 6 million the moment my 3 million position go overtaken. Time zones completely change how you play contests. I live in west coast Canada. It's 4:00 AM for me when the contest ends. This means that I am putting in my final position 2-5 hours before the contest closes depending on when I go to bed. This means that people have hours to snipe me at their leisure. The only strategy available to me is "go big or go home". Intimidation factor is important, I can't allow my competitors to build up a sunk cost that encourages them to go even higher. I need to put in massive bids that convince people it's not even worth trying to compete with me. Sometimes I can get away with just edging in a modest lead like only 1 million points, but most of the time if I want to win I have to completely and totally overwhelm. There are two ways to achieve scores like this. The first is to only compete in Day 2 LC every other month and dump two months of resources on it. This is very hard to do right now given that even with the price nerf, selling items from your gpx10 spins is still where most of your ymen income comes from, and most players are desperate for as many ymens as they can get. The second approach is to have been one of the lucky few who had over 10 billion ymens banked up when the item sell price got nerfed so you can afford to throw billions of ymen in order to win these contests. And even the you've gotta be careful since you need to make that last until Kinkoid gets around to adding a new source of ymen income (and there's no guarantee how long that will take before it happens). So if you're struggling with ymens, you can pretty much write off getting 1st place on day 2 LC. With that said, if you stay on top of your PoP collection you can definitely get top 4 by throwing a month's worth of resources at it, though it can be close and you can get knocked down to 5th even with that.

  4. Myself, I skipped the last LD, but I'm not skipping LC. Even at the lvl 401+ bracket it's easy and doesn't require much resources, and as @Attirm has said, you get other resources along the way. LD, on the other hand, are quite expensive and don't give anything extra. Well, some affection items and that's it. Maybe this way I'll have a girl in Mythic Pachinko once in a while again .

  7. You get +1 shard up to 11 shards for every shard earned. So if you did a x50 and earned 5 shards you'd get 10 and have 6 shards left on the booster. If you have 3 shards left on the booster and do a x50 and earn 5 shards you'd get 8, double for the first 3 then regular for the next 2. Given you get it free from PoV there is no real wrong way to use it, personally I only buy them for mythic days everything else its not worth it. Maybe legendary days if the possible shard nerf we're thinking happened really happened.

  8. Both routes have pros and cons, and the reality of many (perhaps even most) decent to good players is somewhere in between the two extremes. I started out the Girl Level Era by pushing all my 5* (and 6*) to level 500, then some to 550, and I eventually switched to "only fodder and my ultimate end-game battle team from here on out". That's a decent compromise that works for me between staying afloat now and rising up later on instead of sinking hard once I reach a wall for 600+. I currently have only a few of my myths at level 600, and I don't awaken my other relevant blessed girls past 550. They're still good enough for now, and I can devote my resources to the fodder for the next steps.
    2 points
  9. The quick route only makes sense for very high-level players who have full Mythic teams. Mythics already have a fairly substantial stat advantage over Legendaries, and when you add in a 50-100 level advantage it's like always having a 30% blessing always in effect. For an all-legendary team to actually out-perform the mythics, they would need it to be a week where the mythics are getting no blessings and the legendaries are averaging around 40% blessings. Most weeks the blessings don't even get that high. And even when there are strong blessings, sometimes they don't affect any of your girls. There are still three qualities that don't even have a single 5-star girl released yet: Strawberry Blond hair, Grey eyes, and Black eyes. And there are countless other qualities that don't even have a 5-star legendary released, so good luck making use of a Light Brown hair blessing when Nike gets that blessing and there are a total of zero 5-star Legendaries who also get that blessing to use against her. In the long run the fast approach will mean you will have wasted books and gems on a lot of useless girls, but if let you take some high placements in D3 in the interim period of domination it will have paid for itself. The long-term prospect is that kobons and XP shop refreshes are going to be the bottleneck, not gems, so earning kobons in the meantime will pay for this. However, only a very small group of people are in a position to make a killing with this strategy. For most of us, I agree with you that balance is the better approach. I already posted my own approach, which utilizes a balance of girls. At preset I'm progressing with 2 Mythics, 24 Legendaries, 2 Epics, 9 Rares, and 33 commons. Of these, only 11 of the commons are 3-star and the rest are all 5-star, and a 5-star common is actually passable in PVP and will be decent with good blessings. I think for most players who aren't in a position to really abuse a fast-advanced all-mythic team, this approach is the better one. It will waste very few gems along the road to level 750 and give you a diverse battle-ready harem. It's also helping me with champions, as 24 legendaries is actually enough that I can draft for them and get big hitters. This approach will be slower than the quick route, but once I'm at level 750, I will have wasted far fewer gems in getting there. I think he means that he's been grinding villains who reward Playful gems in order to level up Vespa. (Sniped) Vespa in particular is one of the strongest girls in the game for PVP. She is tied for the highest possible stats of any Legendary girl, and she has two extremely rare qualities: Green hair and Orange yes. There is no mythic with these qualities, meaning that on any week where she's blessed she has a high chance of being the single strongest girl in the game, something almost no Legendary girl can boast since there's almost always a mythic who is stronger.
    2 points
  10. Sure. I got Vespa at a time when she was going to be one of my top 7 girls for the next week, from Legendary days with a 101 shard drop, when I already had shards for her. So I pushed to get her up into the level 451+ tier as soon as possible, since she was a blessed 5* Legendary. That's where a bunch of my yellow gems went. I will do the same for Dolly once she shows up as worthy of making my League team - which upon checking is next week, so that's going to be a priority. To clarify a bit more to cover Attrim's post below, I wasn't grinding a particular villain for gems, I was just speed leveling her for her immediate usefulness.

  11. While I could indeed achieve such scores, I would have to sacrifice Daily Contests (Which are still a major source of Kobans at my level; equivalent to staying in D1-16 each week). So, I'm happy while I can do both But I'm well aware that once I reach lvl 401+, I'll have to make choices I don't need to do at the moment. I'll also gain more Kobans from Leagues by then, so, maybe it will even out in the end. Until then, I still have almost 40 Levels to think about it

  12. A bit of both. ^^ We're actually getting a lot more orbs now than in the nerfed-into-the-ground days a few months back when we had extensive discussions about it (and I posted my now-obsolete—thankfully—series of "trash bag" themed reinterpretations of a number of PoP rewards list). It's not cornupocia as it was pre-nerf, but it's actually pretty good in that regard. So you're wrong or simply out of date in your data on current orb income. Having said that, there is now fairly conclusive data confirming our suspicions about the MPx1 drop rate having been stealth nerfed within the past couple months or so. Whether that was intentional or a misclick when they've touched up MP to remove the avatar pool, hard to tell (my money is on the latter, though ^^) but it seems pretty clear we went from our long-running pretty fair drop rate of around 2-3% back down to the horrendous 0.5%ish joke we used to have waaaay back in the day. And that sucks immensely. I hope @Noacc (oops a ping appeared in my sentence and now it's there! ^^) can please look into it and hopefully bring us good news in the near future. However, the EPx1 drop rate seems fairly consistent with the long-time estimate. There's a lot of variance and many of us use EP orbs far less often and far fewer at a time these days compared to a year ago or so, which lead to some suspicious samples here and there, but also quite a lot of lucky streaks and just plain average runs too. So at this point no reason to suspect the EPx1 drop rate changed. Same for the LD drop rate, which raised more than a few eyebrows recently, but turned out to be most likely just the result of the community being on edge after a few recent infamous moves, and more people being suspicious of their bad runs than usual. -------------------- Anyways, we're getting a bit too far off the topic of the current LC event, here. Let's get back on track. OT: I'm grabbing little to nothing in the post-girl contests, as expected. And that's fine. What about you guys?

  13. I was not going to vote because I found it hard to articulate how I felt, but this is almost exactly how I feel so I've also voted "yes and no" with that in mind. I did want to add that while I don't feel any difference in HH, I do heavily in CH where I went from winning 80-90% to maybe 25% of the time. That feels super bad. I started looking and everyone I am fighting and losing to has girls leveled 200 levels higher than my character (not girl) level. So they put the effort in (broke above the free ceiling). But I'm not super motivated to, so the combination of those two things has me considering quitting CH altogether (or at least until such time as I can muster the time/effort to strategize). It is possible I am alone but as has been said elsewhere (including by me) it went from a casual to complex game "overnight". So anyone unprepared or mis-prepared are probably equally suffering (or will to Attrim's point - maybe that will even be me:P). As is quoted "KK is not a charity" so if they are willing to lose people over this, that is simply a business decision (good or bad). It could be my experiences but I suspect the middle group suffers the most. I think I was high enough (and prepared enough from the forum) to escape this pain on HH (thank you). I also suspect super new folks will not be able to tell much (the game just starts "complex" for them, so they will feel minimal pain or just not continue playing), but not willing to create another account to find out PS: I'm not saying people who voted "no" are middle, I just suspect that people who are losing more than winning now probably are, were unprepared or just in a "bad spot" when the transitioned happened. Anyone could vote "no" for their own reasons, plenty of threads on that 😜

  18. If it was a Multicolor gem that could upgrade everything instead of having so many different gem types it would not be so hated. Could have just allowed people under level 500 to level up their girls to 500 if this was not about making money either.

  20. Legendary Contests is one of if not the most generous event of the month. If you're below level 401 then it's really easy to get the girl and you're being silly to not spend resources required to do so. If you're above level 401, then daily contests are ridiculously competitive and the amount of effort required to win just three or four of them will let you win the LC girl easily if you direct your efforts to LC instead. Even if you only care for the girl's affection scenes and poses, the kobons winnings of three or four daily contests is a fair price for a 5-star girl. Either way this is one of the easiest girls of the month grab. The number of players who have mythic pachinko mostly cleaned out are a tiny minority, and for the rest of us mythic orbs are a very valuable resource, so even once you have the girl the remaining days can be far more valuable than daily contests to you. And it's not all-or-nothing, either. While daily contests really don't give anything of value to anything below 4th place, LC gives something of value down to 25th so if you fall short or get sniped you still get a reward. With gems currently being a prized commodity, the gem rewards in LC also cannot be dismissed; you can easily bring home thousands of gems if you take several 1st place finishers, which is quite doable if you save up an entire month's worth of resources. That's very worthwhile. I think Legendary Days is worth skipping now, as the drop rate there is quite frankly bad and we're in a gem crunch right now and will be for quite some time into the future. While I'm not saying it's wrong to participate if you like a girl or if you're lacking a specific element, it's definitely not a great event to participate in right now. Given that those girls are in the mythic pachinko group and they won't be relevant until after the gem crunch passes (which is still a long ways off) you may well have a chance to pick them up way more cheaply. If you are you going to pick up a new girl, it probably makes sense to wait for a Mythic Day that matches the element you want. Unless gem drop rates change dramatically (again) it looks like I'll be in the market for a Voyeur mythic before long, but I wouldn't touch any other element.

  21. I came back to the game after the introduction of DT, and shortly before their removal, so I didn't fully exploit them (I think I collected 2 full price Mythic Girls in the meantime, one of which was a revival; so only one of them gave me tokens). However, I was indeed obtaining most of the event girls with DT, for a simple reason: I was aiming at acquiring anywhere between 95 and 99 shards, and then using DTs to complete the girl during the appropriate Daily Contest. So one could consider that I acquired 100% of my OD/Classic/LD girls with DT. But of course I still had to obtain 95~99 tokens first, otherwise I wouldn't have had nearly enough DTs to get any single girl. In total, I probably collected ~1000 DT, and I was spending something like 50 to 100 Tokens per girl (Maybe less when I was lucky). But that hardly broke anything; as these were girls I would have obtained anyway (Just at a different time), since getting these final few shards wouldn't have been too difficult to begin with.

  25. I have seen a good amount of medium and high level players with a full team of girls at level 500, 550 and even some at 600, I don't know if all of them are F2P, but as a rule of thumb you can assume that a good F2P player will progress fast enough in leveling their team, but with some delay (1-2 months) compared with paying players.

  26. Yuha~, I'm sweetscar and have been playing GH for just about 2-3 months now. I was scrolling through twitter when I couldn't sleep (like everyone else) that one time and curiosity guided me to an ad about the game and lo and behold, here I am. I'm 26 and currently on the climax of my postgraduate degree OTL 😖 I love D&D (big naddpod fan) and was stupefied when GH had a D&D-themed event just last month, felt like a huge warm welcome to me. Other than that I'm into mangas, learning languages, dancing, casually watching UNHhhh and video games. Particularly a big fan of Dragon Age and some niche Nintendo franchises (Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Advance Wars, etc) Since I'm pretty new, I don't think I have a favorite just yet. The arts and daily missions' description did make me chuckle a lot, though 😏 Needless to say I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and am looking forward to further interactions in the forum and playing some more. Cheers~

  27. There is not a complete solution until they add champions to comixharem, but as of now the optimal behaviour is: don't rush to complete all new story and side quests the moment they appear, there is plenty of time to do it later. Use energy just when there is a contest or task that ask for it and always think ahead and had some reserve.

  31. This is true, but we've had hundreds of Pachinko draws and each one is independent so by now we should be pretty close to the mean and our variations shouldn't be particularly large. Places of Power have only had a couple reshuffles, so a single unlikely shuffle could have a huge effect on what gems we're eligible to get from it for the next two weeks. For instance, my last reshuffle gave me 3 Modern Times so I suspect I'll be seeing a greater influx of Playful gems over the following week. Actually, wait a moment, I just activated all my Pachinko orbs for the event today so that should be a fairly noticeable impact if I compare it to where I was when I posted on Thursday. Based on how many orbs I spent, I should have gotten around 5000 gems. If that's distributed equally, it will be about +625 each, though I can't separate that from other forms of income over the past few days. So let's compare my last posting with now to hopefully get some measure of what happened: Orange (Physical): 3137 -> 4137 (+1000) Purple (Voyeur): 6116 -> 8398 (+2292) Red (Eccentric): 4200 -> 5130 (+930) Yellow (Playful): 3695 -> 4879 (+1184) White (Submissive): 3177 -> 4234 (+1057) Green (Exhibitionist): 5292 -> 6513 (+1221) Blue (Sensual): 3214 -> 4189 (+975) Dark (Dominatrix): 3668 -> 4628 (+960) So rather than answers this only creates more questions. Or rather one very big question: where the hell did that many Voyeur gems come from? I only have two Raid PoP's active right now. It's mathematically possible for that many Voyeur gems to have dropped, but it would have needed to have been almost 100% Voyeur drops for the last 5 days which is just improbable if it is a 50/50. At the same time, though, the Exhibitionist winnings seem a bit lower than expected so that is consistent with a really lopsided streak. All the more reason why I should be keeping a detailed log of PoP winnings to look for patterns (I won't). Everything else, though makes perfect sense given the situation. There's a certain baseline influx from pachinko which was evenly distributed and means my income is pretty uniform with only a little bit of variation. I'm farming Sake which is why Submissive is a little high, and I've got 3 Modern Times PoP's active right now so I would expect Playful to be well above average. So aside from Voyeur being a massive outlier, it does look like the Pachinko winnings were well distributed.

  33. Yeah, the secondary contest being "destroy your cash (that you will never make up for with how stingy the cash income is now)" was pretty unlucky for good players. I included my "no thanks" ranking for that in my screenshot on purpose. The rest of the top 4 in my group most certainly destroyed large quantities of Ymens for this. They were all about still at 2.sthM until the final hour or so. Thankfully, none of them had enough to make up for claiming their XP too early (and/or possibly I was the only one out of those 50 players to have invested in PoV's koban path?). Anyway, I'm glad I got that result, and glad that it's over now. I'll see if I can grab me some special orbs in the next three days, but I typically end up with a couple of MPx1s at best in those.

  39. Okay, so I got around to listening to the whole audio Q&A now. Thankfully, no sound issue this time. Maybe I had my hopes too low but my assessment is that things don't look as hopeless and grim as I had anticipated, honestly. There are definitely some issues and explicitly a number of things that Rosso should be aware of that he isn't, and also some parts of his current reinvention slash new vision for the game(s) that are just not good for the game(s) we know and love, even if these parts are cool elsewhere (it's really crucial he accepts that this is anything BUT an RPG). But he doesn't give me the same vibe of someone really disconnected from us as in previous Q&As. I liked some of his answers even on changes that really hurt, like the removal of Dating Tokens for instance (I would have understood and accepted it much better if he had presented it this way back then). Rosso is way too casual (as a player) to have ever experienced first-hand anything that decent long-time players are talking about, but he at least does play the game(s) a little bit. He's been transparent on that too (somewhat unknowingly, I'll elaborate in a moment), which I really appreciate (around the 10 minute mark). His actual "main" normal player account in HH is Level 256 (and his CxH one is Level 150, and his GH one is only Level 80). In expert players terms, this translates to "I'm a very casual noob on HH, a comparatively much more advanced casual on CxH, and I haven't finished the tutorial in GH". That's not great news but it's not bad news either (bearing in mind that my previous assumption was that he never plays on a real account at all). There were a bunch of good to great news in that one: He definitely wants to bring back all past non-Classic event girl types eventually, including Season, PoA, MD and more; Daily Goals are coming soon-ish and they seem to be one of the positive missing pieces of the puzzle for some game economy issues; Club Champions will definitely be reworked for better rewards and a clear goal to make it more cooperative and tone down or remove the parts that make clubmates turn against each other; He seems to know that a month like this December is too much. He said this was a special month and we should expect the amount of events and features to stay within the range we had in November instead in the near future. He even explicitly said that some of the new event ideas presented in the Big Survey are planned to replace obsolete events like Epic Days, not to increase the total number of monthly events; He's interested in upgrading some of the best 1-star girls into 3-star girls; I for one would love to see that; He confirmed the current extra PoA was an "experiment" and not the new norm. The one at the end of this month will have the usual format instead, and we won't have an extra PoA next month. Beyond that, he admitted that he/they actually expected players to perceive this positively and he was surprised by the backlash; yes, for us forum regulars the kneejerk reaction to that is obv "WTF?" but that's actually a couple of good news in one if you look deeper into it. For one thing, he's aware that many players hated this. He doesn't understand why yet but that's a good start. This means he's less likely to attempt the same thing again, and that perhaps if someone explains it to him calmly and in details he'll see it from our perspective, too. Which could be key to avoid future disasters in the same vein, and perhaps even find a good middle-ground. My biggest takeaway from this is that Rosso seems to actually really care, even a lot, and he also seems genuinely open to conversation. I'm actually considering sending him a DM as he suggested at some point. Most of the points we disagree upon come from insufficient or incorrect info or different interpretations of trends. In some areas (especially competitive PvP and strategic late-game in general) he just doesn't know the player experience well enough to notice or understand why this or that is a problem for the community or not. In other areas, he seems to not receive as much feedback as he hopes, notably well the hentai/fap experience, UI, artwork, themes, kinks and so on. It seems that the average Q&A of this type is a bit too focused on long-term strategy, high-level play, competitive PvP etc. for him, and I can understand. And I have tons of ideas, suggestions and requests for the areas barely touched upon in the questions he typically gets for his Q&As. So yeah, it seems worth a try. EDIT: Oh, one thing I forgot to mention: someone needs to remind him this forum exists. He made a point that he checks Discord and he acknowledges the Discord community, but not a word of us forumers. And that's a really big waste if he never looks up the forum (even if CMs give him cliff notes here and there, it would really help if he actually read our key feedback threads at least).

  40. Back in mid 2017 when I started playing, life was relaxed, you just connected 3 or 4 times a day for 15-30 minutes just to complete your daily missions, use your energy and combativity, do some arena (like seasons) battles totally optional, get some money from your harem and buy stuff in the market. That was all. A classic event run for 14 days when the month started. You only got drops of full girls with a glorious descending black shadow animation that revealed the girl (how much I miss that, those moments were really thrilling and exciting, for me was one of the main attractives of the game). Revivals where girls from previous events returned, started in 2018. Anniversaries were like a giant revival where you could get many girls if you had saved kobans. Also the first legendary girl Levitya (think of them like Mythics now) was released in 2018, I won her and it was my first post in the forum (and my first penalty for posting the image to share my joy, rules were stricter then), being just a reader until then. Epic pachinko was with kobans only (no orbs existed then). No one except for ultra whales could get all girls, getting all girls was only a dream those days. Upgrading the girls had increasing costs for every girl you got. The only PvP was arena when you had 3 battles every 30 minutes against other players getting mojo and small rewards for wining 16 daily battles. You just had a three girl battle team that could last for months once they were upgraded. The story was one of the main drives for new players, being the other the girls parodying known anime characters.

  41. Yeah as if those additional points had any consequences for other players.. simply Rosso back at it again I guess

  42. Actually, it is. I asked Rosso about it during KC. Apparently it'd be unfair to other players if you both got a girl for "free" and got potions for "free". Even if you whaled the Hentai Clicker gacha to get Mani when she was available for a limited time, thereby making her very much not free.

  43. Well, someone has to keep these threads running. Screenshot taken one hour before end. I finally placed 11th. Unboosted the whole week, I am not going to waste boosters in S1 even if that means taking some losses.

  44. Garbage on the battlefield, but the battlefield is only one part of the active side of the game. And even the battle team is helped quite a lot by most if not ALL girls in anyone's harem, due to the passive bonuses from Elements. Any girl even a poorly drawn 1* common is a little piece of gold you definitely want until you have 100 of each of the 8 colors (which in my case happened only last week, despite having well over 860 girls; honestly the semi-random distribution of Elements could have been a lot harsher to me). As for the erotic aspects of the game, well, we are an awesome community with a mutual understanding of the unwritten rule that for the most part, that's private and also to each their own, live and let live, have your fun and let others have their fun (overall). But it's still a fairly BIG part of the game's appeal and success, you know. ^^ It's HENTAI Heroes, after all. I can safely say that I would not be here today if it weren't for the beautiful sexy art in this game (that's far from the only thing I'm here for, but it's definitely important, and it's the one thing that made me actually want to even try the game when I had the prophetical popup back in the day). Beyond that, it's been clear that "rarity" has almost no upside for players in this game, and definitely no consistency with anything. Rares are actually becoming rare now because they were cut down from kind of the middle ground way way back to the one daily missions girl a month and that's it for a year or so now. Epics are more defined by what they're not than what they are: it's a shortcut for "any random 3-star Classic event girl that was neither the daily missions girl, nor the pachinko-exclusive Legendary". About half the girls in the game are Legendaries, and for the vast majority of them it's a pure downside: they cost a lot more to upgrade and level up, and even for mundane things that have no business being "rarity-based" like the late Dating Tokens (RIP) or the current Awakenings.

  45. That's always been the case. Mythics (so far...) are basically old-school 5.4 main base stat 5-star Legendaries, with one extra Star (but not yeee old school like some 5.3 or even 5.2 out there either), whereas more recent 5-star Legendaries typically have a 5.5 main base stat (and more and more total stats in general). It's basically bound to happen that they'll eventually powercreep the current generation of Mythics as well. But even then, the power gap between older and newer Mythics should be a lot smaller than the one between older Mythics and even recent 5-star Legendaries.

  46. YES IT IS! Yes, but NOT BY CHOICE. If it were up to me, we wouldn't have Mythics at all, or they would be a lot less overpriced, and/or MD would be once per trimester, not once a month. It's sad that awesome works of art like Nike will likely never be fully available to me. But it is what it is, and in that case (and many others, and many more yet to come, unfortunately), I had to take the rational decision for gameplay purposes rather than out of personal taste or preferences. Which leads me to: I agree that there are a bracket of players that fall into this category, but they are also not the players who are going to be prioritising winning the leagues, so aren't the players who would choose the 'prioritise 7 Mythics' strategy. As such they can't really answer the question. Don't generalize too much. I'm living proof this isn't true, and most players don't really fall into one perfect category in their approach to each part of the game. I'm the type of players who prioritize being competitive in PvP, in part because I'm also the type of player who want to collect as many girls as possible, and I've long realized that PvP is by far the best way to do that. Casuals who ignore PvP to "just collect the girls" actually shoot themselves in the foot in term or results. PvP competitors grab up to twice as many girls for the same cost (well, unless you count caring about PvP, keeping in the loop and investing a lot of time, strategy and efforts into it as a cost in and of itself, which I would probably agree on). Anyways, I have 7 Mythics now, so yes I'm going to cut down the insane cost of MD and Mythic girls in general from my already tight low-budget monthly expenses (everything about them is overpriced as hell, not just the event to get them, but their upgrades, their awakenings, their levels, every last thing about them costs an arm and a leg in various in-game currencies). But I wouldn't if there was a realistic way to still collect these girls in my situation. Having said that, I'm not actually going for a full-on all-in on the 7 Mythics strategy for awakenings either. Neither am I going for the forget-about-Mythics, all-in on all 5* Legendaries and the constant Blessings-induced musical chair game. I'm doing a bit of both and something in between, carefully attempting to keep afloat in the present while not screwing myself over for the future. A lot of players are likely closer to that than they are from either of the extremes. LC girls are usually great both in terms of stats and battle potential, but also in terms of art and themes. And they're super easy, barely an inconvenience to grab basically for free every month until you reach Player Level 401 and enter the Bracket of Death for Contests. After that, yeah, they require quite a bit of effort, planning and investment. Still nowhere near as much as LD girls, for instance, who do get the occasional revival and are also in the MP pool, contrary to LC girls. So I really don't see a valid reason to miss out on LC. It's one of the very last events I'd be willing to give up upon, actually.

  47. As with many organisations - I deal with regulators like this regularly irl - requests for feedback are often made to try and validate decisions that have already been made rather than establish the best course of action. I think the test servers are a very strong example of the methodolgy at work - it's never about actually changing the feature to address problems it raises in the ecology of the game. It's simply about using players as free bug catchers. I view the survey as more of an exercise in KK ticking the box to say that they 'communicated clearly' what major changes they were going to make to the game, rather than a genuine effort to see which features players actually want. I hope I'm proven wrong on that, but as with your quote from Rosso, I think there's a certain deafness to community feedback/consciously not seeing problems they don't want to see when a lot of resources have already been invested in developing the feature. It's readily apparent to anyone who has actually played the game that Awakenings fundamentally undermine the Blessing system and I don't believe for a moment that Rosso can't see it. He's not a dumb guy. He simply doesn't want to see it. If he genuinely can't see the conflict between having one system that encourages players to max out different girls each week and another that forces them to focus on only a few, he's going to get a shock as more players reach 7 Mythics and stop participating in the MD events......

  48. This guy is delusional... Anyway, the more worrisome signs are that it seems they are somewhat set on releasing all/most of the new features, even before they have gathered user feedback.

  49. @Тёмный Властелин You can ping direct using an on line Russian keyboard to "type" the first three letters then cut and paste across, though it is more effort the just quoting Edit : As I already have the on line keyboard open, here's the letters you need - Тём - just save them somewhere. Merry Christmas 😂
