jelom Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 (edited) After having obtained my first girl, Sady in 128 battles (after the bug was solved), we can be sure that the shard range (1-12) and drop rate (around 10%) is similar to a normal revival event, so my advice for everyone (including @Observer_X ) during this Orgy days is: Use your kobans to refill and get all the girls in the villains. You won't have a better occasion to get so many girls with so little expenditure (1500-2000 kobans per girl). You're the one that answering here on the forum, so I say it to you. But you can relay any thanks and appreciation to the whole team, so there shouldn't be any issue with this. Then something needs to be clarified. What is the intended changing background? The one that smoothly changes every 7 seconds(1st). Or the one that changes 3-4 times in less than a second(2nd). Because I get the first one only when I do nothing on one particular page, like main screen or harem screen. But when I actually doing something it's the second one with non-stop switching. That must be the all-time record for acquisitions - unless, that is, you got her with one of those x100 shard drops. I've got her up to x41 shards in my Peregrine Took account after the first round of 20 and I thought I was doing super well. Hey, congrats, by the way. I heed your advice, but, sadly, my koban count is down the drain after the last Epic Days event. I'm not moaning though. I managed to get Evelyn in my KH accounts as well as Ria thanks to the head start I had with Evelyn from the last time. This isn't aimed at you, by the way, but I just want everyone to know that I wasn't one who complained about the bug. Shit happens. I did offer idle speculation, however, and it proved to be wrong, I'm happy to say. I realise that the team of geeks at HH would've been working tirelessly to fix the problem and things got up and running again very quickly. We should all be thankful. It seems like they might've altered the drop rate for a time to compensate for the lost three and a half hours from when the event started. If so it was gratefully received. Ta! However, as I've mentioned (and a few have supported) earlier in this thread and the other one, the current switching pace is way too fast in my humble opinion. It's very distracting when you're on the main page, and for those of us who have migraines, any eye problem or, perish the thought, epilepsy, this can be more than just unpleasant. Could you please kindly consider toning it down to maybe alternate the background at least every minute or so, instead of what looks to be every few seconds? Thanks in advance. I guess that's pretty normal for a revival. I usually get two girls in revivals in most accounts. In the following commentary I'm talking about no manual refills. I'm heading to two girls so far, but I'm not counting my chickens. I notice that the shard drops fall away after the first day and pick up again in the last day and a half. I call it the donut. If I spend kobans to refill I've found it useful to take this into account, as well as my experience of shard drops alternating in rounds between three and five of no particular value, and zero to one. If I refill and play again after a good run I usually waste kobans getting sweet stuff all the next round. While it's no certain thing, randomness being what it is, I still choose to refill according to this pattern and sometimes partial refills are useful. It didn't work last Epic Days and the drops in all accounts were simply terrible, no matter what stage of play I was at. It was only through spending a tonne of kobans that I managed the success I achieved... and, of course, this left me unable to follow your advice this event! I don't know whether anyone else with multiple accounts has found the same issue, but my Lili account is simply awful in terms of acquiring girls. Event after event after event it's the same story and Lili was the only account where I failed to get a single girl last Epic Days and remains the only account where I failed to recruit a single 5 star legendary in the right class (HC in this case). I did have a good brief run for awhile, but this was very short-lived. It's weird as that account has the worst drop rate of any of my accounts by a long way. It shouldn't be like that with an element of bias introduced to a supposedly random system, maybe not in terms of the frequency at which shards drop, but their values, definitely. The only remaining problem is this switching background. It was a great idea. And looks good when you are in the main screen. But constant flickering from purple to orange is not healthy. The art is the draw yes, but how the game plays is just as important. No I don't contribute money, and I fail to see how that should matter. What I am is a veteran gamer of similar gacha games (granted without the porn aspect) and a critic of how I see them done. If I see bad choices, I voice my opinion on them. There use to be many other players one or two years ago that would argue with the dev's choices, but most of them have left because they knew they were wasting their time. I don't plan on going anywhere, I'm curious to see both the main story to it's end, as well as if this game ever tanks. No I don't actually think the studio is run by morons, but I do think they make lots of choices that are either bad or greedy. (maybe they are forced to do a discount again because of their nutaku partnership when they don't want to do any promotions so they promote the least useful thing to spite nutaku) I don't know. I will give them thanks though for doing the right thing and compensating players at least to a small degree so far with 30 free combat points. However there are players that already spent kobans on this event that need to be compensated for that as well. I'm also grateful that they've found a solution to the number of events and how to give players new and old a continued chance at event girls they may have missed, and even the new girl you can get 12 affection from if you get affection points from a fight. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
