I don't usually duplicate screenshots by other members, but since we've moved on to another page of the thread and it's kind of a special occasion... With thanks to @jelom whose post of last week's results showed Zerodyme with a fairly pedestrian average of 22.12, which gave me some confidence that he might actually be beatable despite his 3 D3 wins and the 23-level gap. 22.27 for him here, but with a big and likely inefficient rush at the end - with 12 hours to go he was still sat at only 5300-odd points, barely in the top 15. New personal best for me at 22.54, using my usual booster setup with 14 ginsengs and 6 cordyceps throughout the week. Good RNG week though, with something like 20 more points through crits than I tend to get on average, so that wouldn't necessarily have been 22.50+ if we replayed the same league again. Similar winning margin of just over 50 points as in my first league win 4 weeks ago, but this one felt a lot less nerve-wracking. Kind of a weird set of recent leagues for me: win, top 15, top 15, top 15, win. KH players almost all the way here, down to 11th place the only exceptions were HORUS in 5th and WorM in 9th, the two highest-level HC players in the bracket. The best Charm player only finished 12th this week. (And he was the only one up there; 13th to 15th were all KH again, although one of them was using a HC alpha girl...) All in all quite a lucky league draw for me, I guess, with over 40 KH players in total but none of the really big boppers. I suppose the top 4 spots ended up the way one would have expected them to go, at least player-wise if not the exact order. Apparently there was a rush of players trying to get back to D2 after promoting involuntarily due to PoA league play (I guess), as my bracket finished with no less than 20 zero-point scores, and I heard similar things about several other leagues during the week. A second place in D3 is also good. The rest of the bracket was a bit weaker this time. The screenshot was from almost one hour before the end, but it shouldn't have changed too much. I played 4 ginseng for 2 days and also 2 ginseng 1chlorella 1cordyceps for 2 days. Obviously I lost points with these configurations but not enough to finish in 5th place. Varlock won easily, even playing to the max I wouldn't have been able to catch him. As I expected Phoenix did more points than me. The good surprise was Entwine, he got 2nd place. @DHarry's strategy worked well too , congratulations . This week I am with Fran / [CNO]Osef69/ Superboy/ and one more time with Entwine, top 4 will be hard ... All the 13 point losses were stupid (as always). 4 cordyceps setup allows me to defeat almost everyone nowadays. Nice. I've found out that 4 Chlorella setup allows you to get lower average points per wins. My personal record this time (it seems). It's easier to reach lower numbers in the simulation without high threat for a loss. I am very grateful to all the guys, who post the lower part of their D3 brackets in "Identifying the Dicktator league brackets" topic. These screens tell me what level I should reach for a relatively "safe" promote (365-370 for now it seems) without substantial XP and koban losses. Thanks 😉 The league was won by level 428 Know-how player (4 D1 wins, 6 D2 wins). Level 394 Charm player was 2nd (1 2nd D2 place). Level 423 Hardcore player (1 D2 wins) was 3d. Level 329 (!) Know-how player was fourth (no previous achievements). The rest top 9 are: CH, KH, KH, HC, CH. Time to demote back to D2 where my amount of time to play and play style fits better. In fact, I regret not taking it even easier. The average point gap between trying for 4th or more and just in the top 15 is larger than I thought. Yes, there is a great point difference between 4th and 15th, but it can also vary a lot. I have seen as low as 400 point and as high as 1000 point gap, although the usual is 600-700 points. The 4th place usually has 6500-6600 points, but I have also seen 6300 and 6900. The 15th place has less variations, it usually reachs 5800-5900 points, but I have seen 5700 and 6100. I know that there are leagues with 100 players and leagues with 102-103 players, and that can amount to 100-150 points more at the end, so to properly compare them I should use the point average, but the total points can give you a rough idea of the difference. Though I don't plan on doing this too often, those weeks where I'm completely out of my league (pun intended) I'm trying to get it as cheap as possible from now on. So guess aiming for 6100+ is always a safe bet. We'll see. This week if only 1 player isn't doing his best I have a chance of p4 so I'm going for the max. A good indicator (mostly independent of the level increasing) would be the leaderboard all-time XP experience rank when the player got the 4th place (or also the first win) in D3. So, I did as many fights as I could. But, the score not to demote was pretty low this week (596). Anyway, I performed 150 fights for 6 wins and 144 losses. Now, I'm back in D2 where I expect to win a bit more XP and much more kobans. Time for me to grow up a little before coming back in D3. I got a great result XP wise, but not enough points for a top 30 this time around.
