Nicole started off great, with 71 shards dropped after just 76 battles (although I was already into refill territory there - free combativity got me through only 60 battles after Pooky). And then I ended up needing nearly another 100 battles for the rest... _shal_ Posted April 2, 2019 Share Posted April 2, 2019 Did 648 battles against Dark Lord across a variety of (otherwise dormant) test server accounts recently - 73 shard drops for a rate of 11.3%, or 8.9 battles per drop. If his drop rate is set to higher than the "normal" 10% it's probably not by much. Before anyone asks, I didn't bother to track the actual shard amounts here, as I have seen no reason to doubt the official word that they're simply evenly distributed between the min and max numbers. A very good result, I had more than 4 days left from the event. (Strange how extreme success in the old system would have been 2-3 days for two girls and with 10 days I would have screamed bloody murder - but now 10 days is definitely an immense achievement.) Cameo Event Donatien - 233 fights - 29 drops (12.4% drop rate) - 102 shards (3.5 shards per drop) Ninja Spy - 263 fights - 27 drops (10.3% drop rate) - 102 shards (3.8 shards per drop) Especially lucky for Ninja, as those 263 fights include my longest ever dry spell of 56 fights. Daily drop rates are still very varied, between 4-16% of the fights yielding shards. This compares to last event's 315+239 fights to get two girls. Conversely, Malina started off really hot and I was on course to a very quick finish there - until that 51-battle streak near the end pretty much ruined the pace. Still slightly better than average in the end, but kinda meh considering that promising start. And even moreso when I'm looking at the sub-250 numbers posted by others... At least I did have one small bit of luck at the end needing only one refill, with the final drop having come exactly on the last of the 20 battles. Helped by 16 combativity from league today, granted, but would have finished with no refills even without that bonus. Three instances of back-to-back-to-back shard drops probably won't be happening to me again anytime soon. In other words, I'm aiming to buy exactly as many extra battles as needed to reach either 4th or 1st place. Anyway, the 100 drop last night came rather unexpected, to say the least. Things had improved a bit towards the end from the sorry state of the first 300 or so battles (3.2% drop rate through 10 drops!), but those numbers are still pretty depressing. I think I'm going to think of the full drop as justified compensation for pain and suffering. As Edna was my last girl to get from Finalmecia, I'm completely done with her now. The final tally: 451 for Zoe + 330 for Salem + 707 wasted battles under the old system, plus these 521 for Edna = 2009. I needed to refill a bit more for yesterday's boss contest after the Edna surprise, so I also went back to Roko for the first time since late December. I can't say I was too surprised to straight away need 45 battles for the first drop... I've got two more girls to get here (only managed Noomye pre-shards), so this'll be another while. So around 230 fights for Eastern Bunny have given me 53 shards + an unknown number of shards for the three boss girls. So the three boss girls really screw up any sort of chances for event girls. If a boss has boss girls and an event girl you end up with a higher overall shard % chance, but that's not to say you aren't right to some extent. You could technically get unlucky and end up getting boss girl shards over and over and not hit many event girl shards. I had 5 accounts with all 3 girls on gruntt and the numbers weren't skewed much. I did however end up with 1 test account that had pretty bad luck at 246 attacks to acquire bunny which had all 3 boss girls (413 attacks overall to get hari too). Even with that the boss girls didn't generally hurt anything as the numbers below show. Event girls and boss girls each have their own slice of the RNG % pie which doesn't really seem to take away from one another, you just end up with shard/attraction events occurring more often. Only included overall percentage of shard rate, but you can figure out individual girls without much trouble. I guess the only thing I really left off was average attacks to acquire each girl. 2499/16 = 156.18, which funny enough fits right in with my guesstimates all along lol. Results were all over the place from 201 to 413, though if we ignore both the best and worst results, it leaves a much more reasonable area of 263-355.
