I don't have any particular comment to make on the other news, they're pretty straightforward. About the KC event: I hope the special rewards will be on all opponents, not just one as shown on the (pretty tiny) screenshot we got today. I hope "Rare or Legendary" is a typo, and actually means "Epic or Legendary". It's good news that Legendary is at least a possibility now, either way. About the ban timer and such.. I noticed a member in my club who was a regular but has gone inactive (for whatever reason). Since he may have quit playing, be on a hiatus or maybe have been banned/suspended, and for club management purposes, does the club know if a member has been banned/suspend and further info? I kind of would have prefered to earn dating tokens instead of shards so I use them on the girls I wanted, but I'm not going to complain about it. Still unsure about Kinky Cumpetition. For now it seems to me that we will only get a limited number of nearly worthless gifts, and a bunch of shards which will be only useful to add another partial girl to the area at the bottom of our harems that recently has been named "Date Pavilion". Sure, minimal effort in comparison to normal, but only to have minimal and (for someone, including myself) maybe unwanted rewards. About the ban timer, it is a feature I surely appreciate, although obviously I hope to never see one. I only hope that the "reason" won't be put in general terms only (like "violation of our ToU"), because that would explain nothing (and IMHO would be a lack of respect towards the player). I hope that in the future will be implemented a similar feature for the players that have restrictions applied to their accounts, explaining the reason and which restrictions are effectively applied, because, as far as I know, actually users with restrictions not only don't receive a message of any sort about the situation, but don't even know which restrictions are applied to their accounts (if I remember correctly, it is the case of our forum pal @windia, who even got an answer from the support in the liking of "we won't discuss about this"). Had you at least checked the Kickstarter page, you would have noticed that the physical copy is only one out of many options. You absolutely can opt for a digital copy instead. It's still most likely not relevant to you as it requires a real money investment, but you ought to know what it is that you're frowning upon, at least. As the meme showed: we're now adding PvP to your PvP. Sure. Whatever. A first impression on 10 battles in Season and 15 in Leages leave me with the impression that I won't earn enough shards to get the girl in 2 days. Assuming the next 2 days KC have another girl, this is just going to add more incomplete girls to my harem. And assuming higher levels in Leages don't award more shards. This will probably end up as yet another feature of the game I don't care about. As for spending kobans to complete the girls, this is where I get confused. If we're moving more and more away from a collection game (where I spend kokans to get girls) to a PvP game (where I spend kobans to get better, so I can earn girls through PvP), then why would I spend kobans on a 3-star legendary girl? No. Even though they kept the name that suggests some kind of competition, and even made PvP jokes, this event has almost nothing to do with PvP, and is NOT actually a competition. It's only a slightly different event with the typical mechanics we're all used to, except that you get shards from PvP wins instead of PvE wins. If anything, that's more open because you don't have to fight a specific old tutorial boss you maxed out long ago to get the girl. You just need to play your regular Season and League battles. It's like a better implementation of the concept behind 1-star girls being available on all villains. One of them will give you the answer to that. The one with the same name as this event, interestingly enough... ^^ So, same thing as the other guy. Well, first of all, bon appétit to you. I'm confused about your being confused by what I said; I'll try to clear up the misunderstanding(s?). I know the meme you referred to was in the feature announcement on Kinkoid's website, and I didn't mean to imply it came from you. Maybe I should have quoted a different part of your post. What I mean is that Kinkoid themselves advertised (and named) this event in a misleading way to begin with. It's not a competition (contrary to LC or MD, where you actually compete against other players for the event rewards). Here, as long as you're able to win regular PvP fights you normally should be playing anyway, you get event rewards that way, regardless of what other players are doing. So, unless someone has a self-imposed no-PvP policy, or is a very bad player who struggles to win any fights regularly in Seasons and/or Leagues, this doesn't actually add anything to a normal player's daily routine in this game in any way. It's not "more rewards in PvP" so much as it's a typical event but the event rewards come from the PvP fights you already do instead of the PvE fights you already do. I mean, sure, you have an extra incentive to spend kobans on refills to complete the event, as usual. The only slight difference is that you buy extra Kisses instead of extra Fists. And it's more flexible, because instead of having to fight a specific opponent over and over, you just need to fight opponents, so you can pick whatever's more convenient (or easier). AND those kobans work towards unlocking the Season rewards which you should go for anyway. Compared to "fight Gruntt or Ninja Spy yet again until the girl drops", this is way better. So I stand by my statement: although this gives you your event rewards through PvP fights instead of PvE fights, this is NOT a PvP event, let alone a "competition" in any way. Observer_X Posted April 11, 2021 Share Posted April 11, 2021 A little sum of considerations about the last new features after the end of the last events. As I wrote before, given the 130 dating tokens in 9 days I got in total, we definitely place in the "almost worhless" zone. Given the quantity of girls that every month make anyway their way into my harem, and the scarcity of items to upgrade them (see also below), I think that for now my no-koban policy will extend to include a no-dating tokens policy. With the possible exception of girls I could need for my battle team (that desumably would require a high number of tokens to be obtained at the earliest opportunity), having getting used to wait months (if not years) to finish obtaining a girl, I would feel quite stupid in spending little amounts of tokens to finish girls missing only a bunch of shards (especially given the aforementioned item lacking), only to end screaming insults to Kinkoid days or weeks later because after an event I miss only 5-10 tokens for a really important girl. Regarding the books and gifts from the kinky cumpetition, the most appropriate sentence IMHO is "better than zero". Up to now practically every non-noob player is aware that, actually, the game, after a certain level, doesn't give to players enough "free" books and gifts to upgrade efficiently all the girls that a player can obtain (at least at a decent pace). And this new feature is not enough to change this situation. Lately I realized that, after the epic pachinko incursion I did a few weeks ago, I am getting dangerously close to that threshold (especially regarding books: with the exception of 2/3 of my main battle team, I don't have any girl upgraded to my character level, but only over 50 levels under mine, and still have quite a bunch at level 1, making the organization of my champion teams even more difficult), reason why I will probably slow down the harem recruitment to the minimum necessary (unless some serious game improvement change the situation in the future), while keeping my previous purpose to reduce as much as possible the number of girls in my Date Pavilion (for now, without the use of Dating tokens, unless they will be enough to obtain a super useful girl). I know, I have a long way ahead of me, but that doesn't matter (especially given the fact that something like an endpoint in the game is nowhere near in sight). 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's not so much a no-PvP policy, it's that I'm not interested in PvP. If/when I am, I'll fire up LoL and get into some real PvP. In this game, I couldn't care less. And so I don't play in Leagues. The fact that it's PvP as well as the insurmountable advantage older players have, have taken all my interest away. When I read about players who keep an eye on opponents to find the right (unboosted) time to pounce, I find that funny but I also know I will never get that much into this game. The result of my style of play was that I leveled my account rather more slowly, have relatively better upgraded girls (compared to others of same level), and actually do fairly well in contents, if/when I want to. Medium shark in a small pond vs medium shark in a big sea kinda deal. I still think that this is the smart play for *all* new players. Now that I've reached level 300 the smart play would probably be to head to the leagues, but meh... PvP . For me league is just an easy way to get PvP wins when I want them for a contest. Now, I realize it's my choice not to participate, and I don't begrudge the older players their koban printing machines. I don't begrudge other players regular updates to the PvP aspects of the game. But (and this seems to be where we disagree) even though this feature doesn't add new PvP fights or options, it is yet again a PvP centric update. As such, it confirms a worry I have had for a while now as the game keeps moving more and more towards PvP. It's not so much that I am against this update, it is that I would like to see updates to other parts of the game as well. Which is why I was initially so happy with the dating tokens. While I was busy this weekend, I did think about my response to you, and wondered why I still play this game. The surprising answer was "Probably just inertia." So I have decided to finish upgrading one of my mythicals (only 10k affinity left), just for kicks. And then I'll take an indefinite break from the game.
