I went to sleep 17th, 11 pts out of 15th, leaving 4 hours of challenges on the table. When I woke up I had finished 30th and had already lost 4 hours of challenges. Now you know what it does mean to be awake at 5:00am every Thursday and at every event start to avoid losing too much progress. Regarding my progress in the league, with my surprise I ended at 14th place, thus being promoted in my first Dicktator III league. As it should be obvious, I am quite underpowered for the actual power level of the last league level. Even within the 15 token bouns I already had losses. While writing this I am at 37th place with 587 points, after 38 battles with 13 losses, but I already ended all the potentially beatable players. Being my first Dicktator III I am curious to see if next Thursday I will be demoted to Dicktator II or I will be able to obtain some decent rewards. Once again i'm 1st level-wise, but it won't be enough this season, i have no idea how i managed to win last time... it must have been the easiest D2 league ever 🤣 In my current league there is a KH player who rushed at day 1 with 6995 pts, and at least another KH one who will do even better (i guess he will easily win the league). As a charm player i just can't beat those scores, no matter what: i can stay epic boosted all week, waiting to fight unboosted players, even with the judge in my favor... all useless. If i could trade that lousy +16k defense with a +37k ego i would get 1 more point in almost every fight (let alone when i'm lucky enough to "crit" twice). Actually sometimes we charm players can't even fully benefit of that pathetic specialty, because if our doubled defense is higher than the opponent's attack we just get 0 damage, losing part of that already low bonus. This time i'll seriously consider switching class (even if i don't have a 2nd 5* legendary it doesn't matter, Beta is worth almost nothing compared to specialties), but always bearing in mind the level of incompetence of this bunch of inepts, so that it never occurs to me to give them even a single red cent. 😆 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TheSonicSly Posted August 22, 2019 Share Posted August 22, 2019 This week was kinda strange with the majority of players falling behind 4 days in and requiring Me to stop, before suddenly picking back up in the next day and a half. 🤨 I kinda had to be on My toes for this one, so it was quite fun. It's still really hard to judge what score will land Me a guaranteed spot in 16th (or below) as it fluctuates big time. I still don't think this scoring system is an overall good idea, but I'm certainly going to take advantage of it while I can. Those 2 there were the only higher level ones. I think I caught spheedy unboosted, he went inactive for a day or two, Yuzuru I didn't spot a window I liked, so just had to settle for narrowish wins. Unlike two weeks ago where I mostly seemed to get 4th place because other players didn't know how to play the new scoring system yet, this one was quite a bit tougher, and I probably got lucky that the level 365 player who ended up in 6th didn't play harder. Having enough money laying around to re-upgrade my stats immediately last week also helped big-time, but that's an advantage that will evaporate again soon. Consequently I suspect my time of getting top 4's may be coming to an end here soon, at least without significantly more booster expenses. (This week: 4 each of rare chlorella / rare ginseng / rare cordyceps / epic chlorella, 2 each of epic ginseng / epic cordyceps.) Not sure yet how to proceed after the upcoming demotion from D3. Oh yeah, besides me as Charm, the only other player in the top 7 who wasn't KH was HC Adelaid, but he made up for it by being the second-highest levelled player overall. After over a year of sticking with Charm through all of Kinkoid's mishandling of the class, I'm seriously considering a switch to KH now. At most 12 more champion stages against Ryu for me, that's pretty much the only remaining good reason to stay in the class now. In all sincerity, I can only say that it was by far the worst week since I started playing this game, and not because I got a poor result. That had already been foreseen. What really pushed me near to tears and left me sad, worried and dissatisfied, even though it was expected, was to see how some players played. Never as in this week have I found myself thinking that some players have really screwed up their brain. And that others play leagues in a destructive way just for the sake of spoiling the game for other players. What I saw last week made me reconsider, albeit partially, my way of seeing tanking players, to the point that, even though I did it my way, I decided to go back to Dicktator II and, unless that the leagues or my statistics do not get a super-huge improvement, I will do my best to stay there. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
