Did better than I expected, honestly. 110 players, so 109 foes, which means 327 attacks. Somehow, I won every single one of them, although I only boosted for 3 days total. I had days where I knew I'd be too busy to do a lot of fights, so I let things slide, and figured I'd refill. Ended with 7375 points, which is currently 3rd place, but I may fall out of the top 4. That's an average of 22.55 points or so per fight; I think that's pretty good. Next week will be trying D3 and playing the way I normally do, mostly. Not sure this is gonna hold, but fingers crossed right now: It held! Yay! ^^ This was a much tougher group than the previous few weeks for me, on top of the LC rush effect. Never had that many 420+ dudes in the same group. I won as many fights as last week, but I gained less points from my losses and ended up with a lower overall score. Highest lvl player = 439. 34 of the 110 players are 400+ and the top four slots will go to the four hundred groups. It was a weak league from the starting, but it got even weaker thanks to LC rushing: Unfortunately Magic played for winning and didnt rush on LC, he probably wouldn have been much better than viron at this point, but I wont complain, the difference speaks for itself. I finished with an average of 21,85 which probably is one of my better in D3. Viron was a KH player, Magic a CH and Becool a HC (johny, dwbjr (i lost two times against him), tiburn also HC, Nora KH and love CH). As I already have posted, Viron rushend on LC everybody else on top9 played regularly. Nora had better basic stats but boosted seldom and when he did, he used the wrong ones. 😃 There were also some other KH players with better stats than I, but their results in previous leagues werent threating. Edit: This week it looks like I have to go for an easy top15 again, but I will evaluate later, when I have more time. But I won by a large margin, more than I expected. 22.41 average, worse than last week but my 2nd or 3rd best. Osef finished all his fights after the first day of LC (where you had to do PvP fights). I played it a little more chill and didn't fight any high leveled boosted players, I decedied to fight some low leveled boosted player as I saw Osef's score of 6804. I knew he had fought pretty much everyone with that score as there were many players on boosters at the time. This ment that he was down for counting, and Caine was pretty much the only one I had to be worried about at all at this point. Well, having my level advantage over Caine, I wasn't really worried that me fighting low level players on boosters would cost me the win. I lost to Grovdar by over 100 points in one of my earliest D3 seasons half a year ago, and although I've reduced the level gap from 28 to 22 since then (well, more like 22.5, I guess) I'm pretty sure I'd get beat by him again. I've defeated Blain twice before, but both times narrowly and it took a lot of work, and obviously Sygfried94 is a very high-caliber player. So top 15 it is again. Expecting to come out of this with 6 losses against the top two, too. No major surprises here. Relatively low averages of 22.24 and 22.11 for Grovdar and Sygfried94, but I suspect I would have struggled to score any better, too. Ended up fighting 5 boosted players, 4 of whom I had never seen off boosts. (I missed the sole window for the other one.) No losses for the week again, which was semi-lucky as there was a level 444 player in there (who only finished in 18th place), with stats bugged so much that his boosted state made him stronger than boosted spheedy and Fran despite the 20-level difference. Ouch. Near the end of the week he had a couple of snapshots which showed him with only 2 boosters rather than the full complement of 4, so he was finally (barely) beatable for me. Boosters used: - about 12 hours on 4 Legendary Ginseng that were left over from last week - one day on 2 Legendary Chlorella - during LC, 36 hours with overlapping sets of two boosters: 12 hours on 2 Legendary Chlorella only, 12 hours on those + 2 Legendary Cordyceps, then the last 12 hours only on the 2 Cordyceps - one day on 4 Legendary Cordyceps to clean up all the hard opponents still left Owing to the rather tough bracket and the LC shenanigans, that was half a day more on boosters than the week before, but with a significantly lower points yield anyway. Still a 20.86 average for me, 20.11 for 16th, so I guess I should cut back on the boosters a bit more. snowman22 Posted September 24, 2020 Share Posted September 24, 2020 Got a surprise 4th in D3. I had given up because there where so many really effective players, even in the mid-levels. At 1 point there where about 15 players I had no hope of beating while they boosted. I stayed boosted for the xp and over the week I caught all but 2 of the problematic players unboosted. 3 of those where tough even then. I also got lucky with a lot of KH judge appearances. I had to fight the last 2 boosted in the last hour and I caught some more luck and only lost 2 of the 6 fights, 2 fewer than expected. I got my 1st top 4 14 weeks ago and this is the 9th. (I sat out 1). I am pretty happy with that but I am not happy with my pts/fight. After pretty steady increases every week for the last 8 weeks this week saw a big drop to 22.06. I blame a bunch of 380ish players I could only do for 20-21 pts. I have not done the bracket analysis for this week because I am busy doing the POA schedule. I did one of my best average with 7009points but it wasn't enough. I forgot to take a screenshot this week but I finished out of the top45 (rank #48) with a score of 4450 points about 150 points below the rank #45 I don't know if it is a "legendary contests" effect or if my league was stronger than the previous ones (with my score from last week, I wouldn't have been in top45 this week either) Boosters used : 20 legendaries (2 ginseng / 2 cordyceps each time) 101 opponents -> 303 fights -> 162 wins and 141 losses I hope I'll succeed to finish in top45 this week. Compared with the last season, the challenge it posed this time felt like some kind of D3.5, I don't know 🤣 Just by looking on players listed by their levels, my first impression was like I'm now intentionally being presented with the real thing 😉 Difficult or not -- I wasn't going to sit this one out! 😉 Although my initial plan assumed a more calm playthrough, I couldn't resist the opportunity of testing my limits even more. Notes: Had 101 foes, managed to beat every one of them but the one who eventually finished as the winner. I used exactly same boosters sets as before: first 4G, then 2G+2C, and finally 4C. And again, I had to spent some kobans on refills... With my starting LVL 399, I was ranked #69 initially -- despite my extreme determination (LOL) I didn't manage to repeat my previous result, but still ended up in the TOP15 (#11). (do not remember all the points for losses to minus them properly) 15th place score – 5003; got 17th with 4997 points was boosted for 3 days: 1 time 4 legendary ginseng; 2 times 4 legendary chlorella total XP gain – ~73430 A lot more XP this time in comparison with the previous week. 4 13 points losses. Once again. 😞 Boosted for 1 round less due to 3 refills during the first legendary contest. The league was won by level 417 Charm player (2 D2 wins). Level 415 Know-how player was 2nd (7 D2 wins). Level 416 Charm player (4 times 2d D2 place) was 3d. Level 413 Charm player was fourth (1 D2 win). The rest top 9 are: HC, CH, HC, KH, CH. Since I never use them anyway it counts like a free use kobans-wise. And most important, much less real time play. Free and easy top15 which is what I expected. 21.92 average without even trying. Seeing the scores, unless something changes in the last 10 minutes, I *think* I could have competed for a top4 (my best score would be 2nd), but the bracket was tough and there was a PoA so I'm not completely sure; and I needed the time off this week anyway, so good call.
