League ended on 11/05/2023 (screenshot taken about 2 minutes before the end): Final rank: 4th Booster used: 18 legendaries (3 cordyceps 6 times). 0 A.M.E. 100 opponents -> 300 wins and 0 loss Koban spent: 900 (10 cordyceps) Profit: 3 864 kobans At least this week, it was obvious from the beginning that I won't get the first place without A.M.E booster. Since I wouldn't use them because of the end of the Seasonal event, I just aimed a top 4 (but even a top 4 is becoming difficult without A.M.E booster). I saved my top 4 for 11 points 😨 Apparently, the day will come soon when I won't be able to get a top 4 without mythic booster. 😞 Have a good week. And since all the boosters were won from Pachinko and CbCs, my only cost was the 45 refills I did at blessings change so I ended up with over 4k koban net gain. This was my second time placing in the Top 4. I always enjoy reading them 😄 Since I participated in several leagues, I will keep it short and highlight the most interesting ones. My winning streak is now 15 wins in a row 🥳 Spoiler My current league is the most exciting (Clash of the Titans), but more on that later in a new post 😄 2023-05-18 2023-05-11 Congratulations to my club mate @Taorin for his 2nd place and @Rylarth for his 8th place. 2023-05-04 Congratulations to Kenzie for the 4th place. The club invitation is still valid 😉 2023-04-27 This week I met ThunderWolf again. I didn't expect him to try to beat me again, so I stayed in my chill mode. I was very careless and did not keep an eye on him. On Sunday night I noticed that he had only 1800 points. The alarm bells 🔔 rang and he became a real threat now, because he could storm the league after the BC with the very strong Blessings and i had much less fights left. For this reason I decided to do the remaining fights after the BC as well. As expected, this is exactly what happened on Monday. As you can see I got away with a black eye. This was a lesson for me and I will never stay in chill mode again when a bunny 🐇 is in the league. A nice thing is that I won as cheap as possible (by one point). It cost me the refills after the BC and about 2.6 AM. Congratulations to ThunderWolf, who recognized and used the favor of the hour. The league was very exciting from Monday on. We even made a bet on this league in our club. Especially without the date, reference to the specific week you're posting your results for, or the top part of the league rankings page that you cropped in your screenshot. That's confusing at best and typically meaningless. We already had this issue with... someone else a few months back. Don't want to do that all over again. If you're still #5 after the league is closed, then okay. Post that once it's time. Being #5, #1 or even #99 several hours before the league ends says next to nothing about what your actual final rank will be. I spent 3x Cordy and 1.83 AM (Forgot to refresh it so I missed a few): It looks like Milio bet a lot on the new Girls Equipment, because he kept a lot of fights until the very end. Close end for the three at the first places and I'm proud that I could get the 4th place behind them. That Sovereign and joe would compete for the 1st place was expected, kkphukedthisgame was one of the expected for top4, but I hadn't expect that he would perform so well to be dangerous for joe and Sovereign. Nardi Legend was another one expected for top4, but thankfully it seems he had played in chill mood. My team was lvl749-750, I used 1 Ginseng, 2 Cordyceps and 2,9 AM Booster. This week also had a clubmate of mine in it and I hope Carlos was able to inch into the top four. My final results are a 2nd-place victory. Last week overlapped w/ the KC, which discouraged the use of AMEs, but I figured I still could during the 2nd half. It was definitely an easy bracket, didn't sense much competition, despite there being 5 other 1st place winners present. Had about 2k more profit than last week's 1st, since I didn't spend as much on AMEs and refills. Also spent just 6 cords vs. 15. Got 45% for the new league girl Thyra, and I love her "Venus" artwork. I like the parody too. Aloy from "Horizon Zero Dawn." I played the game a bit in the past, maybe 12 hrs, and lost interest, b/c my game was bugged. I couldn't engage the slo-mo to aim arrows at the mechs easier. The story and gameplay was interesting, so I'd probably try to play it again, from the start later. I know there was already a sequel to it that released last year, "Forbidden West." Like last week, I didn't recognize any major players so I decided to use some of my stored AMEs, especially since it was the last week before girl equipment and I wasn't sure how that would affect things. I used 3x cordys all week and 3 AMEs, but they were all won from Pachinko and CbCs so my only cost was refills after blessings. I did more refills than usual because I decided to fight all the players who still had up Voyeur teams after blessings change, but even with the around 700 kobans I spent on refills I still had a net gain of about 4,000 kobans. Screenshot is from 5 hours before reset, but I'm guessing things didn't change much. Not sure if I'll try for another Top 4 this week. I have about 30 fights left over on my AME, and I have 3 AMEs still in my stock (and plenty of cordys), but needing to do Seasons fights for PoA makes things a little tricky. I used 1 AM on reset, plus leftover from previous league (1.17 total), and 2x Cordy on avg (1 in the early league, 3 during reset, and 2 rest of the time). Against ny last possible opponent oglop I had a 97% chance of winning and an expected outcome of 22,2. One fight got lost and one was with an outcome of 18 points 4 under expected. The last one with 23 points was ok, but the damage was done. With an average result I had 12 points more but so... I knew I would have the top team (multiple variants of it, evne) in Phase 2 and blessings would be stronger then, so I played from behind in Phase 1. Came Monday post-reset I saw a much bigger opportunity to secure a potential win than I expected (the concentration of leftover pre-change Yellow teams was through the roof!), so I took the chance and invested heavily on it (tons of refills mostly, apart from that one AME and 3 cordys that day). Really glad it paid off, because I would have barely broken even with a top 4 instead I think. Congrats to @milio for scaring me a bit with the half-expected sudden rise from bottom top 30 to close to contesting the win near the end. Glad you were a hundred points short, though, NGL. ^^ That would have been a costly top 4 for me otherwise. Also congrats to @Methos2 and @Alander for completing the podium, also rising up from behind on the last day but not as dramatically. Good luck have fun this week, folks. Used my refills during the first half, where most players used terrible playful teams as their defense. Also, maxed a new physical Atk gear, for an extra 2% defense. Noticed savvy players like @Liliat had 4 of them! *Waves* 👋🏽 to @Tom208 & @430i. I'm low on cords now, so I'll chill this week w/ gins, at least in the first half. In the second half, I'm gonna have ~225k TP, thanks to Dom 35% & Legendary 35%. My real focus is on whether or not I'll have good odds to break the pantheon's 2,000th wall. @-MM- is in my next bracket.
