The Begin City remaster was just released a couple of months ago, and I don't notice any difference in Gems Kingdom so ... just Begin City.

Wow it's pretty awesome! However, except for some chapters in the Nija Village, I don't think there's much to redraw, they're great as they are. I'd rather have the good drawers work on girls 😕

Well, new players are likely to form their opinion about the game during the first few worlds.  There are some frames in the Evil Laboratory scroll that look like a rough sketch.  I nearly dropped the game over them.  I'm sure some other newbies have a similar reaction.

I'm not aware of any update to that, so I wouldn't hold my breath for other worlds to be reworked. Inasmuch as Ben, the original artist, is still involved after reducing his workload last year, I believe he's plenty busy with the ongoing story and occasional one-off girls.

I'm making the wild assumption here that he will continue to be the main artist for the story after Digisekai, which may not actually be correct.

Great lineup of new and past girls.  I'm personally rapt to see my pet squeeze, the sexy vampire Arabella, in there.  I managed to get this new version of Derri.  She's not quite the same, but she's near enough to satisfy me.  Still, none of them will come close to Lopussy in her third pose.  She literally causes my heart to race.

I know this is probably the wrong place to mention this, but I managed to get Lima with my x10 orb.  She's actually rather lovely in an unusual way, great third(?) pose: nice placement of leaves over her pussy and nipples, but the lime-green diaphinous leggings are a standout.  As with Lopussy, her attire enhances the cuteness of her little body.

Really good anniversary, guys.  Congrats!

So, art is mediocre-to-acceptable, but why the hell do most girls look nowhere near like themselves. I'm especially appalled at the versions of Abrael, Lenaelle and fairy. Meanwhile they obviously have someone who can draw based on existing art, as Noemy and Shina pretty much look like themselves even in slightly different art style.

Noemy is done by the main artist. That's why she is super hot and cute.

Shina is done by the assistant artist. She doesn't really look like the original Shina.

I am pretty sure somewhere on the storyline there will be some plastic surgeon introduced - obviously as villian. Hero's task will be something like fuck them until they look like her old self again. Quest scroll: Give them their beauty back.

(That being said, I honestly dont care that much about the particular art, I play the game for other reasons)

edit: to say something topic related: nice event so far for me, got first girl at the beginning of day 2 (thanks to 150 combativity from PoA, and Derri is also on 50%)

It's, of course, great that "it won't happen again" and I even believe it a bit. Except I think you should do something about this "new Shina" anyway. It's just that when I compare them, I have bloody tears coming out of my eyes. You can't leave that in the game, it's just beyond good and evil. It is like mocking, like spitting in the face, even the notorious Natasha can be perceived with humor, but there is no excuse for this horror.

I accept the fact that, as a free player, I will never get a majority of the girls available so I am just happy for the ones I receive, regardless of the art.

There are, believe me, lots of sexy, clickbait, micropayment games out there on the internet. They all seem to run into a wall after a couple days unless you pay cash. This is the only one I've found that I can advance through and enjoy playing without having to make payments. I haven't spent time on any others since I found Hentai Heroes.

Another example of what I stated before.  To each his own.  I personally do not come to this site for proportionally correct versions of a woman. With that in mind, between the two versions of Shina represented above I like the newer version more then the old "bird legged" version of Shina.  She's a bit curvier.  Just wish she was not posed in a pigeon toed stance.

Pigeon-toed is sort of bird-legged in a way.

While I generally like curvier girls and redheads, Shina was busty with some curves before. This version is basically okay looking from neck to hips with some weird hand placement, and an atrocity above & below that range. And I'm far from a usual art critic. Probably need to take this person off drawing girls, and just doing town backgrounds.

I'm so glad it's acknowledged to be an exception and such a difference won't happen in the future.

Personally i don't mind if someone prefers this version of Shina but it's a big drop in artistic coherence.

It just doesn't look like this girl could exist in the same universe with all those done by the main artist .

I'm also more engaged in the girls I shared more time with like Shina as she is a story character.

I don't find the real pattern beyond "it looks terrible" and "not like a woman".

I'm not saying drawing is easy - if so noone would get paid doing it.

Yes it is hard work. Just as this is a visual game and less a story game (as proven with the HD images), it feels important to keep a style on a haramette or make a new character.
