will we at least get more ways to get these equipment pachinkos? Seems like we only get one from the 4th chest from the daily goals. Why not give use more packinkos from this equipment instead of those frames in the 5th chest?

Surveys being hard isn't a given. We have one in this forum, which was pretty easy, it's actually this topics first questions. You can do this with the girls equip in an official Kinkoid survey too, just a yes or no question, do you like this addition.

Unless you mean the hard part is asking an easy question if you don't like the expected answer so you have to phrase it accordingly, in that case, surveys are very hard.

It's an area where I have some experience and that I've studied quite a bit. There are biases upon biases to purposely avoid all the way through if you want the survey to influence people answering them as little as possible and collect the least tainted or oriented data possible. Even an "obvious" yes or no question can have a very different impact depending on how it's phrased, where it's placed in the survey, what question came before it, and many other factors you don't necessarily realize by default.

This is so true that there are bullshit jobs, consultants and many other parties involved in larger surveys who specialize in "nudging" the answers in the direction they want while being subtle enough about it that they can't be easily accused of doing such manipulations, including and especially for public government-ran surveys, and many "scientific" papers. It's a LOT less clean cut than you might think at first glance. (Hell, multiple "democracies" have dedicated "Nudge Units" on their payroll...).

There's a WORLD of difference between "Rank these 10 items from best to worst" and 10 separate entries asking how much you like or dislike each individual item. And the results are by no means interchangeable. This was the most obvious problem with the New Features survey(s) by Kinkoid. They've used the results from the former but presented them as if they had been answers to the latter. That's grossly misleading at best.

Of course if I ask you point blank "How much would you enjoy a global nuclear war?" you'll answer "not at all". But if I ask you to rank 10 things from best to worst and the other 9 are even worse (the planet, solar system or universe getting destroyed for instance), you'll still be forced to rank global nuclear war #1! ^^

There's a ton of scientific literature, debunking articles and studies on the topic if you're interested to go further down the rabbit hole. But the first mistake to avoid if you want to make honest surveys, gather representative data from them and draw sensible conclusions from it is assuming it's simple.

I'll just leave you with a couple of somewhat (in)famous examples to give you an idea how much influence the survey's format, order and phrasing can have on the answers people give.

1. 90% of patients who get this surgery survive. Shall we proceed?
   vs
   This surgery is fatal for 1 in 10 patients who get it. Shall we proceed?
   (A lot more "yes" with the first version, a lot more "no" with the second one. shocker! ^^)
    
2. Literally the same two questions, asked in reverse orders:
   "How happy are you?" into "How's your dating life?"
   vs
   "How's your dating life?" into "How happy are you?"
   (In the second version, a lot fewer of the participants said they were happy.

(Both real examples from real studies, by the way. And this merely scratches the surface of "priming", "nudging" and other concepts or, for the Evil Empire, techniques to influence and twist people's answers to "simple questions".)

Hi there, yeah there does seem to be some issue with limited orbs being available. BUT. KK have very generously given you a way to have as many orbs as you want !! Simply use up all your free orbs, then you can just buy more for 90 koban each.

Unfortunately there is a flaw in KKs logic as players only have a limited amount of koban to spend. BUT. KK have your back again. All you have to do is click the cross next to where your koban used to be (you know, before you spent them all on orbs) and buy some more with real life money. Yes, KK love you so much they are willingly to let you use your own money to win their game. The only problem comes is when you run out of real life money, then KK won't care about you at all as they have drained everything out of you they possibly can.

On a serious note, there are other ways to get orbs : PoV / PoG / Seasons from memory, I'm sure there are more.

Edit : Are we trying to collate a database of drop % for the new Pachenko, or do we already know the rates ?  I've only used 70 (free) orbs so far so not a good statistical sample !!

Edit 2 : Serious suggestion : On the girl equip page, top right shows you her class & element, which is good for matching best gear for her. However Mythic gear uses pose as well, so if that could be added top left it would help. Ta

Since we received a lot more orbs on the test server, we were able to get a pretty decent idea, with a couple thousand samples. Not nearly enough to give definite .1% accurate drop rates, but good enough to get an idea.

Ravi aggregated the drop rates for mythic items (Player + Girls):

This is one of those basic things that by sheer logic should have been there from the very beginning of the beta test and I'm honestly amazed by the fact that it is still not there. True, the autoequip could make it so that you won't ever open that girls equip page, but still...

When People already struggle with uppgrading 1 Hero Mythic equipment with 100×10 Great orbs each month to release something that requires 42 mythic pieces to complete and then gives only roughly 50×1 orbs each month is just pitifull these things need serious reballancing and I also think 90kobans for common equipments is way to steep a cost one suggestion make a 10x equipment orb that cost 60-90 kobans and make single equipment orbs cost like i dont know something reasonable like maybe 10kobans each also i think The people on kinkoid marketing department  need to realise there is difference between setting a high price and setting a Price so high that to pull the sales of you only need your customers to pull of a bank heist🤑🤣🤣

Aaaand I'm done. It's been a fun four years, but this is just extra work with no payoff. I switch teams in D3 depending on my opponent, and juggling gear every time I fight an opponent is miserable for the many reasons I'm sure you've already encountered and other people have already described in detail.

I assume most players aren't going to worry too much about getting the "best" sets, but I'm really proud of my optimization and there isn't any way I can see to optimize these in Leagues and still only devote a reasonable amount of time to the game.

It's been a really fun ride, though, and thank you to all the users here for your extensive support.

Final score: 23 level 750 Mythics and 43 level 750 Legendaries. 26 Mythics, 126 Legendaries, 1262 girls total. 87th place on Pantheon. Never made 1st place in D3 but have been getting top 4 more than 50% of the time for months. Nutaku.

Thanks again for a great four years!

Personally id wish that Everyone continued playing like this whole BS of a feature didnt exist and nobudy spent a cent on it . Frankly i want some kind of an apology or let KK die financially .

Can do too. We'll see if I end up hurting myself. Doesn't hurt to try, doesn't hurt to *not* turn in those FOKK orbs. Problem is: there is no way to check other player's girl's gear in PvP, and many players don't read this forum. But we'll see.

Well, it's *possible* we're all wrong. I wont say anything about childish tantrums, but let's keep it at wrong. Maybe loads of players are spending loads of koban on these FOKK orbs. Who knows? Well, Rosso will know, but KK will never tell.

But even if we're wrong, and I'm wrong, about how financially sound this is for KK, I'm not wrong about how boring this is for me.

Speaking as someone who had a conversation like that with a doctor before surgery (will similar odds), I can confirm actual docs use the 1st version, and I was darn glad she did. I had a bit of a scare, even now 1 year after the surgery, when I read this and realized that yes, 1 in 10 I wouldn't have been here anymore. Oops!😟 Thanks Divvie for pointing that out!

I vaguely remember that they give something like 1750 points in the casino contest which is 3.5 times the GP1 orb (500). I think I will use them mostly for Cumback Contest

So not much use for Casino, and if we will get enough of them to really make a difference in CbC, I don't think so.

Fortunately this Weeks CbC is combined with Casino, so I will spend the whole lot (24) 😁.

I found a strategy to easily manage my recruit equipments:

1. Use your orbs until you get a mythic recruit equipment
2. Upgrade it
3. Well.... That's it, you only have 1 equipment to manage now and you can still upgrade it with your future orbs 😁

I think that strategy can work at least for a few months, maybe even a few years

I actually decided to go for the opposite strategy (which will also require more than a year, though): Upgrade 42 commmon items to level 10. Apart from these items, only keep mythic items for the very distant future. Your strategy is simpler, but at least I don't have to worry about resonance bonuses and can blindly equip the girls in the team.

I chose yet another strategy: for now, I'm not upgrading ANYTHING. Better to have 42 items, even if most of them are shitty, than (partially) upgrading my lone mythic and couple of legendaries and leaving 39 slots empty (at least that's what I figure, I didn't do the maths, obviously. ^^).
