number 3 and 5 were also kh players, number two hc, and 4 ch - there were plenty of higher lvls in this league, but they didnt seem to bother at all

see you in two weeks, my beloved d2

I placed second this week. I did 6905 points but @Slynia bested me. Congratulations for your victory. he used a strange tactic during the week, doing small rushes so on tuesday he was at more than 6700 points, but reserving some battles until the end. At least I learned something about the new boosting and gear strategy. It is ironic that my best average (23.25) was not a 1st place.

This week I am with Master Horndog (lvl 422), so probably another 2nd place for me, as he always wants to win and is a very strong player.

Okay, so after going for an entire week with no booster at all, I've finished #35 of my D1 this time, which means lower-tier rewards than I've been getting until now (using boosters).  I'm still considering the pros and cons, here (advice or feedback much welcome!).

1/ Considering the league aspect only, it's clear that the kobans I didn't spend on boosters would have amounted to way more than the difference in rewards, so it's still a net gain. Definitely a pro.

2/ I don't need to boost myself for champions at this time, because I'm alternating between Matsuda and Ryu, who are both at a pretty low level still, and neither of them is a priority for me (I'm KH and I got Any, so there's no real priority left for me, any other champion girl I get will just be a bonus). I have no reason to rush that part of the game anymore, so spending kobans for it would be overkill. Also a pro.

3/ The one big downside of not using boosters this week has been losing tons and tons of arena fights, to the point that getting my 16 wins for the daily quest takes a long time now, and I get very little rewards from my wins compared to the weeks I was boosted. I guess my Mojo is stupidly high for my level, by now, and that's why I keep getting opponents that I can hardly beat without boosters... Definitely a con, but that's the only one.

Since Mojo is just about the most useless thing to have in this game, perhaps I should go on a "Mojo burning cycle" until I'm back to a low enough level that I can get a decent win rate in arena again without boosters?

My new league looks whatever, I'm tied for the 8th lowest level. Same old, same old, at this point. I'll probably reach top 45 again without boosters and eventually top 30 again, maybe not this week, but soon enough, as I keep getting stronger. So... I guess I'll go another week without using boosters, and I'll try to burn down my Mojo the best I can to fix my arena issue.

Thank you for a good match! Like I said last week, every point was going to count for me, that's why I did my absolute best this week, doing small rushes just to fight as many as possible that were not on boosters. The last remaining fights were only people who still had boosters, that's why it took so long for me to finish them all ^^
Anyway, I think we had a very weak league cuz I got my best average as well (23.42).

This week I am with my club member Cadmos (level 425). He is a charm player however, and the 3rd highest leveled player below me is level 406, also charm.
So I think I have a very good chance of winning this week again.

I'm doing fine in the league. Finishing 16-30 in Dictator II @ lvl 232 is more than I expected.

But... and i'm not sure this is the thread for it, as it is the testserver and this is a result of the testing they did with leagues. I was online all day that day and probarbly did to well.

There, on the testserver I'm stuck in a awful league. After the test with leagues I've been in leagues with over 150+ players and most of them waaay out of my range. Atm it's 165 players and 20 of them are lvl below me, 133-153.  I'm lvl 154, next are 160, 199, 216, 228 238, 257 ....

So I have 20 easy, 1-5 maybe and 150 impossible opponents, so no way of doing good, in fact... 75th paced had almost 3 times my score last league, when i finished 111th... and I'm still at same level.

I know it's a unique situation, beeing it's a result from a test for new way or creating leagues.on the test server... so very unlikely anyone knows anything about it.... but suggestions would be aprecheated. Getting a 0 by not doing any fight in league for a week is... not a good option as I would lose a lot of XP and still wouldn't be sure it would fix it.

For now, I'm just hoping it will fix istself and I'll get into a normal league eventually.

maybe he isnt interested in winning, @_shal_?

Alas, while he waited until the last couple of hours to do it, he did rush eventually.

image.png.5396d8bf7b819d454dd0c5423bada087.png

After spotting him in the middle of day 5 I immediately started tanking myself out of the top 15, which meant no fighting at all for the next two days and only minor cleanup to keep near 16th place during the final 12 hours of the season, which is the ranking I finished at. Was keeping an eye on things just in case he wouldn't move at all so I'd have the option to rush-finish right at the end myself (would have cost over 1200 kobans, but would obviously still have been worth it), but in the end it didn't matter.

Ironically, if he did all 318 available battles (I have a feeling he might've just spammed x15's until he was in the lead, for 21x15 = 315 battles), that's only a 23.50 points average, which I might well have beaten with regular play. Obviously not so with the way I was forced to triangulate between 1st and 16th there, which caused severely suboptimal play - at the time of his rush I would have needed to average 23.90 or so against my left-over opponents just beat his score, and with the danger that he might still have some more battles remaining anyway, I didn't try.

Anyway, outside of scoring more XP this was pretty much a lost week like any week spent up in D3 - between the boosters and the partial refills I'd already used before Cadmos showed up, the 1380 kobans for the top 30 finish only just about covered the costs. :S Anyway, as the screenshot indicates, I had to skip nearly 100 battles. I always figured I'd eventually run into a player who'd break my string of D2 wins, but I kind of assumed it would be a competent KH player around level 390-400, not a 420+ Charm who's top 10 in level on the whole server...

@Slynia Since you've got him in your new D3, I'd be curious to know if he's playing normally up there this week, or is immediately demoting back to D2. (If it's the latter, I'm at least on the other promote/demote cycle now...)

On a side note, the player who finished in 2nd place had rushed within the first day, and I'm not sure he paid any attention to the league season after that at all, as he didn't bother to battle the two players who only joined up after his rush. Of course, in the end Cadmos made it not matter anyway.

My new D2 season looks a bit more competitive than the previous one did at the start...the nominally biggest danger appears to be a KH player at level 393 (21 higher than me), with 1 win in D2 and 2 wins in D1, but he's clubless so his current boosted state (3x Epic Ginseng, 1x Legendary Ginseng) is actually well short of what I'm capable of boosting to. There's another KH player even up at level 395, but he has never finished better than 7th in D2, so probably not a heavy boost user. The third player to keep an eye on is yet another KH at level 387 with 2x second place in D2.

I was tied for the 15th-highest level at the start, after late joins it's now the 17th-highest.

He's currently only at 115 points, but it's still too early to tell if he's playing seriously or not, as he was using boosters yesterday, but have since then wore off.
If I have to guess tho, I think he is planning to demote. I will give you an update further down the road of this week's league.

Well, you're in the same league so, you know, why don't you ask him directly? I was told he is a very good f2p player but it seems he's busy as of late.

You can't talk to other players in your league... May I assume that you ment club? If so, he only speaks french, and I dont care enough to translate just to ask him if he is planning to demote when i easily can see so myself. He is still at 115 points, so i will just assume that he is gonna demote.

That is a dangerous assumption with high level players. I have seen many of them finishing all fights on the last day. Off course that does lead to fewer points, so the assumption might not matter.

I have seen exactly that not too long ago ...

Yes, your assumption is correct.

Again, situation is fairly stable in Dicktator II: ended 18th in the last league, with a bunch of non usable tokens left. My new league seems almost on the same lines, except maybe a slightly reduction in average difficulty, due to less 300+K EGO players in comparison to previous weeks, so it is possible that I will need to ditch more tokens than last week.

And I really should have ditched more tokens: unluckily around 2:00 am last Thursday I made a huge error forgetting to verify the score before using my last token of that league, and ended at 14th place, being catapulted again in Dicktator III.

I decided to try my little strength for this week, and at few hours before the end, I am fighting for 75th place (I will probably be unable to reach it), although it is to note that I was penalized by a super-busy week and due to this I lost eight league tokens. As a side note, apart some almost worthless commons, I didn't use boosters.

The thing I was clearly able to view, instead, was the incredible (and, in my humble opinion, really stupid) gap between Dicktator II and Dicktator III, as well as the level of strength (again, quite absurd in my humble opinion) needed to survive (and I emphasize surviving, not being competitive) in Dicktator III.

finished on 87 with 15xx points, at least so experience for the demotion

now looking on a really tough d2, where are some KH players with similar strength or a little bit higher and one HC player which can easily outboost me, but hasnt finished higher than 2nd in all his d2 seasons, could also demote, what wouldnt make a lot of sense

not sure how I am playing this at the moment, but will sonn have to make a decision, probably playing one or two days with boosters and then I show how the leaderboard stands

Finished 11th with 6084 pts in my D3. Needed 5 days of orange boost. I think that is about 8 times.

Things are evolving in D3 as I expected. This season there are 14 L400 or better players (out of 100) so about 1/7 is 4xx. I still need the same 5 x orange to beat 16th. There are more 400s but I have grown as well. Red Queen race. You can not win but you can lose.

No surprise late appearances of overly strong players this time. Surprisingly competitive bracket with 6 players going for it, though - rough luck for the two that just missed out on top 4's, averaging 21.4 should usually be well enough for D2.

Quick breakdown:

#2: HC 386, maxed club, rushed on day 3, then inexplicably kept up one particular set of epic boosters almost all the time. I hope he didn't expect that it would do anything significant to stop other players' challenges...

#3: KH 394, no club, heavily boosted 24/7, but a 5 monos / 1 rainbow equipment choice just isn't gonna do much nowadays. Could surely still be a major threat in D2 with a good club though, thanks to his high level.

#4: KH 388, nearly maxed club, joined slightly late (near end of day 1, IIRC), didn't boost at all I believe. Shows that it's quite possible - if a bit risky - for KH players around level 390 to get D2 top 4's on the cheap. If he had been a heavy boost user he might have troubled me, given the 14-level difference.

#5: Ch 374, club upgrades in the low 10's, presumably boosted a lot to finish this high. Can't say I paid any attention to him during the week since he was never gonna challenge as Charm...

#6: HC 384, club upgrades around 15's, boosted only intermittently I think, certainly could have finished top 4 with more aggressive play, considering who did finish there.

Silly me used legendary boosters for the final day even being 99.9% sure that the victory was in the bag. Oh well.

The usual week off in D3 for me now. However, as it's a minimum 100-player bracket I can actually try to achieve a new milestone and demote in 86th place for the first time. B| My top so far is 3x 87th.

Second week without using any booster at all, and I finished #39 in my D1. I still lose more than I win in Arena, but apart from that this is much more profitable overall than what I was doing to reach top 30 before that. I'm pretty confident that I should slowly but surely reach top 30 again with this strategy. In the meantime, my koban reserve thanks me! 😃

I suspected to win my D3 league as I was 9 levels above the guys closest to me (if we exclude Cadmos who was the highest leveled player, but he didn't play this week), and I sure did.
Surprisingly Dickens was 2nd here despite having several players above his level in the same league, I dunno if this changed after I fell asleep (the screenshot was taken 2 hours before reset).

hhhhh.PNG

This week I am the highest leveled player in my league, but I have 2 other strong know-how players with me, [CNO] Yayane (level 413 from CNO obviously) and, mago oscuro del caos (level 415 from The Porn Identity). I am not taking my win for granted this week.
