I suppose it's kind of general knowledge by this point how different boosters stack up against each other, so I'll share that I've tried making sense of the general effectiveness of different booster combinations. This graph from maybe about two months back I'm presenting could use more data points admittedly, but it's maybe the best I've got for speaking in general about boosters, and even then you have to remember it's from my specific situation at that point in time. I focused my research efforts more on hypothetical opponents than real ones in an attempt to pinpoint how different aspects of opponents affect booster efficacy (and produced a whole lot of graphs during that), but it's not given me really much of a breakthrough, and it might not even matter since you can't really switch boosters instantly. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Final rank: 3rd Boosters used : 18 legendaries (1 cordycep / 2 gingseng 6 times). No mythic booster. 101 players -> 100 opponents -> 300 possible fights -> 300 fights performed -> 298 wins and 2 losses Very happy with this top 4 since I didn't use any mythic booster this week. His team was better than mine with the new blessings but he rushed his fights on the firsts days of league. Bob didn't play hard. With some optimizations, I managed to win quite easily and I took also the kumpetiton's girl. I used 2 AM bosters. 100 opponents, no loss, 1406 kobans spent, an average of 23,66 Screenshot taken with my smartphone at 12h10 GMT+1 Next week I have a pack of RHB in my league (Govenants, Nardi Legends and Yayane) and also Manu. blaa Posted March 11, 2022 Share Posted March 11, 2022 i was really busy around reset, what caused a) i deleted the screenshot before saving it and b) i was putting on the wrong boosters, anyway I have an older screenshot which is pretty accurate after all (some changes in the bottom 15, but no changes in top 9) i beat shad0w the week before, but I was surprised I could have played with only one AME, well, it is how it is. 309 players, all won, fought all unboosted, 3 refills after blessing change, 0,04 worse than expected average I started with really bad luck, after around 150 fights I was 0,3 down, but I got luckier from day to day then. Liliat Posted March 17, 2022 Share Posted March 17, 2022 Way too close for comfort: I went for cheap boosters to try and optimize my league spendings, but I wasn't able to do enough fights for free. I had to use 2 refills in the last minutes to barely reach Top 45, which completely defeated the purpose of saving boosters. 101 players, 300 possible fights, 300 fights done. Average: 15.57 I have enough Cordyceps for the next couple of months at least, so I'll play a bit more aggressively. In the meantime, I should hopefully gain enough levels to improve my average score significantly, and then I might be able to get away with cheaper boosters. First top 15! Other than me, the lowest level player in the top 15 was level 479!! What's great news for me: i) My equipment is now 10 levels out of date - so improvements to be had there. ii) I'm right on the cusp of moving up to Awakening level 650, just waiting on the right DC. More improvements. iii) When the Blessings change I have 6 out of the top 7 girls, all 4 of the blessed Mythics and I have enough resources to bump them all up to 650 immediately. I was aiming for the win and that Top 4, while nice in and of itself (and also my personal record so far) doesn't quite make up for what I've invested in this one. Doubly so since I also finished #2 in today's CCB contest, so no AM booster refund. ^^ I identified early on the exact group of serious contenders who might go for the win and had a shot. I decided that since I would most likely need my A game to squeeze in a top 4, I might as well aim for a win. It almost worked, as neither Laura Angel nor faux troc (sorry but to me "Troc" will always be @Troctout ^^) put much of a fight (I wasn't around near the end to take a final screenshot, but since my #2 rank held, I doubt much else changed at least for top 4). If scores didn't change much further in the last half hour, then Laura ended up being the lucky one who grabs a surprise top 4 on the cheap, but barely (or maybe "troc" grabbed it instead, but same thing either way). The main gap was between #3 and #4 so the 4th spot was hardly contested. The big surprise for me was just how much Mez was ready to invest on this particular week, and how high they would score as a result, despite only starting their push last night (and inevitably fighting many boosted opponents in the process). While I was glad to finally unlock girl level 700 and barely managed to upgrade most of my line-up there (but definitely not Neferkitty, although I did waste some resources trying early on, but going from lvl 1 that was way too expensive for me)... Mez unlocked girl level 750. Not only that, but they pushed Neferkitty to level 700. Add to that the extra 30 player levels compared to me, and yeah, there wasn't much I could do. Oh, whale. ^^ Live and learn. Fight another day (and another week). As now usual, here are my Day One predictions, with those who ended in top 4 (as far as I know) in bold, and those in top 15 underlined: Contenders for Top 4: Mez (500-700 +Wins), gugu2111 (500-700 +Wins), Laura Angel (500-650 +Wins), troc (500-650 +Wins). I used 2 AM boosters and 3 cordys for the entire week (1 AM booster fewer than last week). For the first time I pulled off a "no losses" week and defeated all 297 opponents. Also, for the first time I topped the 23.0 barrier (script says 23.09, my spreadsheet says 23.104, the difference is probably due to the method used for rounding). All of this was good enough to garner my second 2nd place win in the league (no shot at beating a veteran player like Phoenix who garnered his 54th 1st place victory). The breakdown against the classes was also tighter this week: Sim 23.2 1953 points 23.25 game +2.40 HC Sim 22.9 2620 points 22.98 game +2.90 KH Sim 23.0 2285 points 23.08 game +4.27 CH 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At the end I managed top60, but at the cost of a bunch of boosters: 4 times ginseng and chlorella and 1 time kordy and 2 ginseng. I hope that within a month I will be able to move to the top45, otherwise the koban loss might not be so insignificant. As expected, I'm surrounded par RedHotBunnycorns 😄 @NARDI LEGEND and @govenants's teams were too much stronger than mine so 1st place wasn't reachable for me. Yayane was an opponent closer to me. There were 2 other lvl500 opponents who could be dangerous for me but the final ranking shows that I could have saved an AM booster (but probably with more defeats). Could it be that I'm starting to scare? KK's RNG hurt me again: I had a 13 points loss (0.05% probability) for an expected score of 22 points. 100 opponents, 1 loss, 1415 kobans spent and an average of 23,69 Thanks Govenants for the screenshot as I was very busy at 13h00 Next week : Grand Priest (full 750 full blessed) and Fran (6 lvl700 and 1 lvl650 full blessed). So this time I tried a bit harder. Here's what it looked like 3 hours before the end, with my remaining fights: The remaining opponents were boosted, so I knew I would lose all the remaining fights. But 3 minutes before the end it looked like this: I couldn't get enough points to reach Top 30 with only 6 fights (Since I expected 100% losses), so I paid a refill and did my remaining fights: Final results: - Rank 30th - 300 possible fights, 300 fights done - many defeats - 17,84 average - 5352 final score I was too busy trying to reach Top 30, and couldn't take a screenshot of the final Top 15. Phoenix won, Gogeta was 2nd. First time Top 30, I'm happy about that. This week I'm the 4th lowest level player in my league, and there are 14 level 500. Rarum Posted March 24, 2022 Share Posted March 24, 2022 This was a league of such ease that I didn't use any AMEs, and beyond my regular opening play of going in with 3 cordyceps, I used another set of 3 cordyceps to see if there are any who would attempt taking advantage of the seemingly easy league, and then proceeded with 1 cordyceps and 2 ginseng the rest of the way. There's a new graph for you to admire, too: a league difficulty graph. It does maybe need a bit of an explanation, though: The big "pillars" show what the expected top 1, top 4 and top 15 averages are in this league bracket. I am excluded, so if I'd be expected to get the top 4 spot, the top 5 average is shown instead.
