Boosters used : 18 legendaries (1 cordycep / 2 gingseng 4 times and 3 cordyceps twice). 3 mythic boosters.

101 players -> 100 opponents -> 300 possible fights -> 300 fights performed -> 300 wins and 0 losses.

Last time I checked about half an hour before the end of the league, Mardi Legend was 2nd with 7 089 points, Miccia 3rd and the 3rd on my screenshot was 4th (can't write his name 😄)

Miccia had a more powerful team than me but I still took my chance to compete for the 1st place and I did well 🥳
The other players in top 4 had a team about as powerful as mine.
For once, I decided to do 2 refills during the first part of the league. I don't know if it had a consequence on the final result but I don't regret having done them. 😉

Yeah, I wonder if somehow 99% of votes did not go to "please make separate boosters for League and Season" during that survey we had last month... Or if they did but it was ignored anyway. Congrats on the top 4. 👍 So yeah, it was indeed the simplest explanation: a very weak group. Possibly with a single shark that was still swimming below your radar when you took your screenshot, and casually picked up their #1 prize on Thursday morning. Given your final result and having seen just 9 participants, most of whom I've faced and know are not "threats", I'd say if the winner actually is one of them, then there really was no threat in that group (or one that was defused that particular week). Anyway, please don't misinterpret my comment as belittling your performance. I just wouldn't want you to get the wrong impression. When you rank #2 with a sub-23 average and most opponents you see "at the top" have a top 15 or maybe a top 4 as their all-time best performance... Well, yeah, the competition might actually be fierce for them, but let's just say it's the kind of group I'd love to get more often. ^^

As for me, after going down to 5 kobans (five, not five thousands), no special booster left in the tank, no EP orbs to speak of, and losing normally easy CbC days to madmen throwing their kids' college fund at them for unknown reasons... I finally caught a break this June with a top 4 I had no business grabbing, but went for just because. And it paid off! ^^

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what TheMadaFucker and 4t+ were playing at, and I'm impressed Taorin also managed to pull off a top 4 by my side. Sovereign and END/Limule pulled no punches and the fight between the two of them was tight and straightforward enough. I'm thankful the other two opponents I feared just as much seemingly had mercy on me (and Tao ^^). That's a literal last second screenshot, by the way "Season ends in (blank)".

For context, that's how far behind they were this morning (especially Mada):

I guess one man's week off is another man's top 4. Congrats to Sovereign for the win, and compassion to END for the fairly close loss.

Thanks and congratulations to his teammate Thunderwolf, to the Esoteric southern Wizard Mago Oscuro del caos, and of course to Bolitho76 for a week of real all-out, no holds barred challenge, churning of AME boosters with no restraint, of which the Marshall is glad to have finished on top, probably due to the sleepless nights he kept on vigil duty ^^
(and Yeah, that's a very long sentence, folks... did i read sleepless nights ?. )

(no screen this week, as there are already plenty of posters of this gunfight in the previous posts 🤠)

Frustrated is the word I would use to describe this week in the D3. The good news is I started at level 483 and ended at level 485 with only a single loss for the week (and I know how to keep that from happening again so I learned something). The frustration was a series of 14 combats where I hit the lower 1.5% in winning possibilities. It sucks when you see that kind of series. This is a screen shot which will probably change, so I am crossing my fingers in the hope that I finish in the top 4.

My group ranged in levels like this 346-500 with the average being level 488 (32 of the players were level 500).

This is also the first time I have seen a balance in the classes with the top ten breaking down like this:

CH=3, KH=4, HC=3

Crazy league this week for me. Horrible luck during the first days (not much better afterwards), but then I realized that I'm in a really, really weak league this time. I've been in a safe 3rd place after 2 days and the main competitors seemed to be... a player who placed 9th once and someone with three 11th places? wth?

So I tried my luck and used AM-boosters for the rest of the league. Even if there were some tough opponents hidden (and I searched for them and counted), this seemed to be a really good chance for my first top 4!

Sadly, quite a few opponents woke up during the weekend. But I still have a small chance to be in the top 4. TheMadaFucker will win this one unrivaled. KKJai and SadJoker will fight for 2nd place if nothing funny happens. So I will have to cross my fingers that no one else has used AM-boosters. And if someone did, hopefully he scored even worse than me.

So... wish me luck, I guess. 4 hours to go.

An unexpected 4th place. Expected is the 1st place from Troctout (Gratulation to him by the way) but I had expected a better performence from others like barbenoire. I had 30 battles with AME Booster at start and 69 battles at the end of the League, so in Total 1 AME Booster used. Legendary Booster were 2xGin, 1x Cordy.

Well that sucked.

I wasn't expecting it to be this close or I would have used an AM booster or 3xCordy instead of 2xGinseng and 1xCordy.

Next week will be less stressful; I don't have Donatella, Bunna, or Capricorn built so no real chance at top 4.

But once again I wonder if my all level 15 club is what did me in...

 

Edit: Lol I have THIRTY SIX level 500 opponents this week, including half-a-dozen Syndicate and Discordian members. I'll make an easy 8th place though

I'm now the record-holder for the highest properly documented post-awakening average on Nutaku. Maybe I can now forgive myself for getting to have level 750 girls earlier than optimal for resource usage. Interestingly enough, it wasn't even an attempt at a record; just going "a bit above" what HenNaYatsu was doing. I could have boosted more, I could have had all the relevant girls at level 750, and I could have maybe been more aggressive with the blessings change.

Not a whole lot to this league. I did have a realization in the last league that maybe I should be matching the most promiment opponents' boosts and assuming they use AME, even if it seems a bit expensive at times. If resource efficiency was the goal, maybe there would be a lot more leagues where I should just accept top 4, but clearly it's no longer my way of doing things.

The 750 cap came in handy this league; HenNaYatsu is a noteworthy opponent with their level 750 team, so now I didn't really have to worry much at all.

And again I'll be travelling a bit. Annoying, but maybe I'll be able to make it kind of work. The market has a tendency to freeze when I'm on my laptop as well.

The system there has its flaws; evident from this week. There was an earlier problem with the very first records of a league very possibly having been lost, too.

Except for @TheMadaFuckerwho surpassed me, as expected, 15 minutes before the end, no one came close. As I said - weird league this week. I'm not complaining.

Well, okay, Mada could've let me win. Boo!
But I'm not greedy. For someone who usually fights for 6th-10th and got a 5th place once, 2nd isn't too bad. It will take a while till I get even close to this result again.

Ended up 13th in DIII this week, w/ a 5924 score and a 19.95 avg.  I'll take it.  I was in the same bracket w/ @DvDivXXX.  I assume he took 1st place.  I was in 9th place, when I finished all of my fights, then dropped to 13th at the end.  I remember @ZOMIG being 1st most of the time.  I assume ppl did many fights during the KC for early leads.  I was constantly battling for 6th place.

I preferred the previous blessings, of common 30% and eccentric 40%.  After the blessings change, I went from a 150k eccentric/sensual team, to a 140k balanced team.  The 2nd half of blessings (white hair 35% and golden eyes 20%) were pretty crappy for me.  It made mythic girls matter more, and I only have 2 of them maxed to lvl 700, and a 3rd at lvl 600, which I wasn't using.  I used booster variations of 3 gin, 2 gin + 1 cord, and 1 gin + 2 cord.  Didn't get to match or break my 6th place record from last week (30 more losses this week), but I'm content w/ top 15.

I used 3 refills, whilst taking advantage of the blessings change, for a 2.3k koban net profit.  I have 15.1k kobans and 5 SP now, so I feel secure that I'll get Radka next week.

Nothing special to report. I decided to recover from last weeks investment and used standard "cheap" booster setup and no mythic booster, in addition no refills as usual. So a Top 4 result is great. I think it was the first time without a mythic booster, therefore nothing to complain and I take the kobans which brings me to a good reserve to be flexible in future events.

I wish. ^^ Thanks for the vote of confidence, though. I noticed you there as well, but we were not competing for the same range so I just nodded in passing (it was still fun to check in on you for a week).

Yeah, I'm not sure if the rest of the top 4 changed, but since my final rank stayed the same after Quistis passed me over last minute style, I don't assume there was a lot more movement after my last screenshot. Aris underperformed, and the two "Maybes" from my predictions went pretty high, along with ZOMIG who I really didn't see coming (might have underestimated him a bit even). Anyhow, I almost had hopes for an unexpected win, and I might have had a shot at it had I not gone with a more budget mode than usual (2 AMs instead of my usual 3, and much lighter on the refills). But nah. And I'm getting used to this by now, so there was no bad surprise, just no good one either. I came for a top 4, and that's what I got. Even though, yeah, a few leagues ago from this to the above would have been a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me:

That was a transitional week for me and I really really needed that top 4 to stabilize (a #1 would have helped even more, sure, but I'm not greedy, and I'm not blessed with weak groups I can easily bully into a win like many screenshots shared here lately either ^^). So, not much to add. Mission complete, on to the next one.

Speaking of which... Well, let's just say this new league should be more fun for me. I don't usually share my predictions beforehand, but this one I have to:

Quick summary of the previous week: no screenshot. I finished 1st ahead of Fran as expected. For the next 2 places, there may have been some movement after I left for work. I couldn't make the last 3 fights. So it's a tighter score than I thought.

This week: another first place and for relatively cheap at all.

No dangerous opponent but Taorin surprised me a little at the end. I'm afraid for him that he finished 2nd again 😜.

This time I couldn't reach Top30, but ended at rank 33.
This week's blessings are not so good for me, and I think next week' blessings will be even worse.

Now I have 69 girls at level 650 - I will have 7 more after the next contest with girl-xp - but not enough (85) for the next level cap 700.
But I also don't have enough gems (only a few after the last CbC), so I won't be able to awaken any girls to 700 soon.
