blaa Posted August 13, 2020 Share Posted August 13, 2020 The league looked promising at first, but I wasnt able to secure a top 4 in the end. I decided to play a 5 day booster strategy and save some fights till the end for potential refill if needed. Since I had some perma-boosted players left I just skipped them in the end and wasted 9 fights worth 20 kobans in refills. I could have made up to 6540 points, but that's still not enough. This week I am with strep (and a lot of other players from my previous week) again. I also have Hellboy and Eliosa which will most likely complete top3. Maybe there is a chance for top4, but the last week results havent strengthen my believe to get it. But, well, I am going for a try and maybe change the booster to epic or less if I dont see a chance anymore. It was by the way my first 100 players league and an average of 21,99 (which would have gone a little bit lower with the remaining fights (where I probably would have lost one or two). I was the only player under 416 in the top20. But in the end, it didnt matter. 😃 I am still wondering what I could do more to maximize my micromanaging (changing alpha girls or gear more often) but I am guessing I reached the limit I could get with this level. 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got an average of 22.85 points per fight, definitely not my best I must say, but everyone else of the favorites also got a pretty low average. This probably had to do with the brackets average level was higher than usual (which makes sense when everyone's levels only goes up , but it was still a significant change), and also a lot of players were perma boosted all week. I had to do all my last 21 fights against boosted players after all. I played Charm 10% of the league and had one of my best average 23.25 .😎 It's much better than the previous league against suzaku average 22.77, he won by 16points, congratulations to him! (a little bit late, sorry). My clubmate Mick69 on this league got the 3rd place Congratulation to him too . This week , I am with Barf(13D3wins lvl439), [CNO]Osef 69 (4D3wins lvl447) and DHarry... it will be an interresting week. Back to 16th and with only a one round boost (I wish it was always like that ). 4 points from 15th and around 90 points from 31st. The week went rather well this time. As @DvDivXXX already mentioned, I'm seeing a higher caliber company this week (pic on the other post), so things should be harder. (Or, heck, 300+ points to me.) In any case a 22.41 average for me, which could have seen me top 22.50 for the first time if there hadn't been 4 players (including the winner) who just would not let go of their boosters. Pretty soft bracket overall, at least on base stats - the boosting action even by many lower-level players was pretty ridiculous this week. Not sure what was going on there, I actually expected that to become less of an issue these days with the riffraff presumably wanting to save up their boosters for Path of Attraction events. I have a feeling many other players managed to navigate around all that boosting even worse than I did, since I sure didn't expect to see a 150+ points gap between me and the non-mago/kilik part of the field. Congrats to my clubmate @yoyowhan on his victory, but seeing it done with a score that would have only been 6th place in my not-even-that-tough bracket kind of made me sad. Oh well. Edited to add: The top 9's classes were KH / KH / Ch / Ch / Ch / KH / KH / Ch / KH, the best HC player only finished in 12th place this time. Тёмный Властелин Posted August 13, 2020 Share Posted August 13, 2020 (edited) Last week results: 107 players: 417 - highest level, 270 - lowest, average - 362,44, median - 368 made 299 battles: 257 - wins, 42 - losses, 19 remaining tokens average points per wins: ~17,840 15th place score - 4741; got 17th with 4741 points was boosted for 3 days: 2 times 4 epic cordyceps; 1 time 2 epic cordyceps + 2 epic ginseng total XP gain - ~69130 Chill week here. The overall level of opponents was lower than in the previous league. Used only 3 rounds of boosters. About 15-20 players are still unbeatable for me even if I am boosted. Only 1 13 points loss. Nice! Gave another shot to ginsengs. Not worth it. In my situation (win the most possible wins with as little points as possible) cordyceps is the best. Ginseng gives you additional armor, which you don't need and gives less attack power. The league was won by level 417 Know-how player, who already had 2 D2 wins. Level 389 Charm player (2 times second in D2) was 2nd again. Level 412 Know-how player (3 times 2nd in D3) was 3d. 402 level Charm player with no top 4 in D2 got his first top 4. blaa Posted August 20, 2020 Share Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) Since I wasnt sure, if there was room of improvement, I talked about with some players, mostly @_shal_, and i changed two things: Firstly I made my own calculator; Secondly, I calculated more exact outcomes of my fights and switched more alpha/beta girls or gear in total. Even though I only got an average of 21, 59 I still feel, that there was an improvement overall. If I wouldnt have made some minor mistakes (20-30 points) and one big mistake (which cost me alone around 20-25 points fighting one player), I probably could have reached a top4 position. Winner was a CH player, 2nd and 3rd KH, 4th again CH, 5-6 KH and 7 HC. Surprisingly bad was number 8th; he has ridiciously bugged stats but only got ao far. Well, it doest help you in your fighting after all. Edit: I would say this week looks promising for getting a top4, but I also said this for the last two weeks. So let's wait and see this week. Still, it's less disruptive this way than when they did it on the first day of the league, imho. So, another top 30 in D2 for me. I boosted on the last day, as did tons of players, due to LC. Other than that, same old, same old. Leeched lots of XP, didn't waste tokens. New league seems to confirm the recent trend of way more 400+ players than usual in D2. I think I'll still manage, after all my goal is to underperform just enough anyway, it's not like I'm actually competing. ^^ Good luck have fun, guys. Used my third round of boosters 1 day right before the Legendary contests. Was "forced" to stop scoring due to the announcement of Legendary contests and wasted the whole boosters round. On the last day I made 2 refills for the legendary contest and caught up with points for the 16-30 reward tier. 6 13 points losses. Gambled a bit more this week. One more side note about dealing 0 damage and getting 3 points. Sometimes there are not enough guys with armor, that can absorb your orgasm hit (the 2nd one). In that case you can still choose a guy, who can absorb your usual hit and and can trigger his special ability to deal with your orgasm hit, and, in the end, you will still get your 3 points! The best class for that is charm (it has significantly better chance to absorb critical cause it's special ability lasts 2 turns). Know-how is worse, cause it can trigger his healing ability after your first turn, before your orgasm hit - that happens quite often and you end up getting 4 points. The worst class for that is Hardcore, cause its special ability is offensive, but not offensive enough to neutralize you in two turns. Due to the legendary contest didn't have time to gather info about the league as usual (I do it on the last day of the league), so no average, median and lowest level. Didn't track the performance of high levels as well. Next in line (Inuarth) had around 6650 (no screenshot so can't remember exact points). This week my main competition is Quistis (level 454) with 42 past D3 wins (the same as me). He has slightly higher stats than me (3k more EGO for example). And then I also have rayley (level 448) with 23 past D3 wins. We are the favorites for the top 3 spots. Awesome but still no D3 2nd to complete my set. 2 losses, 21.845 pts/battle. I did not make any bad mistakes but watching shal kick butt with his level is sobering. Motivates me to up my game. I always have to finish early because of sleep so for a few hours I was first. I do not like having to put a stick in the sand and then go to bed not knowing what the result will be. I was going to take the current week off and collect some purple because I am almost out. But there are only 4 prev D3 winners (2 with many wins) in the bracket and there is a LC pachinko contest and I have MANY MyPx1 orbs. I was a bit surprised to finish as high as 22.35 as the field looked fairly decent this week, and I gave up some points fighting four opponents while they were boosted. One of them was 6th place finisher Simon who used two different boost setups, only one of which was - barely - a safe win for me, and I didn't want to risk seeing only the unbeatable one later on. (Of course, less than a day later he finally had a fully unboosted window. Oh well.) Another week where I didn't need to use any 4x Cordyceps boost cycles for especially tough or especially weak opponents, not sure what to make of that yet. Maybe just luck of the draw, but it's been happening more often than not lately. Top 5 finishers all KH, 6th and 7th both HC, 8th and 9th both Ch. Big showing by Rex (Ch) with his sub-400 level, another player I ended up having to beat while they were on boosts. 6 players at level 435+ in the starter list, only three of whom made it onto the screenshot with George, Ariel and McLobo. (To Get more points than a KH player with 8 level more, is not so easy.) I played KH all the league and got 23.17 average. It was a good idea to rush before LC . As I expected in my previous post @DHarry et [CNO]Osef 69 were in the top 4. Congratulation to them too. This week, I am with Phoenix. I met him last month for the first time and now I know he is a real opponent. Manage to get a 25th, which wasn't bad considering the opposition... lots of boosted people in the early and late going, which made it harder getting better scores. Again as @DvDivXXX mentioned, the top guys keep getting tougher around here. I'm assuming LCs and PoAs are having some influence in that.
